Hi, Ghvette. We appreciate your 5-star review of Sunrise Ski Haus and are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for choosing Natural Retreats; we hope to welcome you back soon!
This house was great. Exactly as advertised! It has plenty of rooms/ beds for all of your guests and is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. We stayed in the summertime so the mountain views were a great backdrop!
This house is THE BEST! We had 14 people ages 3 to 73 for 6 days and had plenty of space. The kitchen is huge. The hot tub is super nice. The bedding was comfortable. The location is EXCELLENT. Easy drive down to Whitefish for anything you need. And like a 3 minute drive to the ski resort if you don’t feel like walking or skiing there. We would 100% stay here again.
Good location, lots of room in the house, with lots of supplies, and other than lacking a decent coffee-maker, was perfect for our group. Convenient to ski-in, but ski-out required a bit of a hike.

Selected property based on size and location to Glacier. Lots to do for all ages at Big Mountain year around. Wish we would have booked two weeks-Great vacation!
Property is lovely and well maintained. The view is spectacular. The hosts were quick to answer all questions. I would definitely recommend this property. Kitchen was well supplied and set up well to have several of us preparing a meal.
This house was a wonderful winter escape. The house the well stocked with all the essentials. Loved having access to a garage and a separate in-law quarters. The host was very responsive, and helped with all my questions.
The place was great. We had a little trouble with the hot tub on the second night the water was swapped when we were on the hill and 58 degrees when we went to use it. But it was back to temp the following day. one sink was having trouble draining. But they were on top of it promptly. Beautiful property

Hi, Quinn. We are delighted Sunrise Ski Haus was an excellent fit fo your ski getaway and appreciate you sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Whitefish soon; thank you for being our guests!
We loved the location and the size of the house, but the cleanness was another story. There were visible dust bunnies under beds and along some of the walls as well as under such things as the tv stand and accent tables. The worst was the dirt under the big rug under the dining room table. First, I went to vacuum the rug, and the vacuum only worked with the hose, so impossible to use on the rug. I did contact the managers, and they brought a new vacuum the next day. The amount of dirt and hair and lint was unreal out of the one rug. I happened to lift a corner of it up and that's when I saw all the dirt. It obviously hadn't been cleaned or replace in a long time. This is a gorgeous house and location, but it defiantly needs a thorough cleaning. I would stay here again but would check these things out as soon as I got there.

Hi, Joyce. Thank you for sharing your experience at Sunrise Ski Haus. We apologize that the property was not cleaned to our standards when you checked in, and we are reviewing your stay with our housekeeping team. Despite this setback, we are pleased you enjoyed the home and its location, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother stay soon. Thank you for being our guest.
This lovely property set in beautiful surroundings was ideal for our family get-together. A few things detracted from perfection of our stay: garage door was not operational and one of the main bedroom closets was not accessible. The garage door issue will be resolved when new springs are installed; however it would have been good to know in advance as we were sent the garage code upon arrival & spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to open it. The bedroom closet access is a permanent issue. The only other negative was, as mentioned by others, the fact that the kitchen table seats only 6 when the property “sleeps 15.” We were fortunate that the gorgeous weather during our stay allowed us to eat outside on the deck for all meals so we pulled the outside tables together & our group of 10 was able to sit together. None of these little challenges were enough to turn our experience negative but are worth mentioning. Overall, our experience was positive—it’s a beautiful setting.

It was a pleasure to host you all during your trip to Whitefish, Debbi!
11 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed this home, which was able to accommodate everybody comfortably with their own room, bathroom and sleeping arrangements. The privacy of being tucked away far enough from the hill but close enough that you could walk or ski in and out on the trail was perfect. We will definitely book again.

Sink and tub in the lower bedroom were not draining when we checked in. We phoned the property manager, who arranged to have those repaired two days later.

Hi Thomas. We are happy to hear that you had a nice stay at Sunrise Ski Haus and appreciate your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to Whitefish soon!
This place is great - we had 6 adult men and everyone had their own area to sleep (5 bedrooms and a loft with a day bed).
The listing doesn't fully claim ski in/out but it is - there is about a 100 yard flat section you need to walk by the house but after that you can ski down, and take some side runs to get back. It was awesome!
Lot's of space, hot tub, incredible view from the main area and kitchen, plenty of towels - exactly what we wanted. Would go back!

Thank you for choosing to stay at our home! We hope to host you again soon.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. Great layout, lots of space and spacious for a group. Property Managers were very responsive. Great experience!
We had a wonderful time in your home, it was clean and well stocked. We saw more wildlife than we saw anywhere!! We have a large family and we never felt crowded. Loved our visit!!
The house was very comfortable, instructions were clear and Whitefish is an amazing place. The reason 4 stars are given is the living space is small for a house that sleeps 15. The living room has a recliner and 3 seat sofa (4 people max can sit in that room at a time). The round dining room table seats 6 with 3 short counter stools. If you have 15 people staying at this house, you will feel cramped. Also, the en suite does not connect to the main house except through the garage. If you're booking this house with small kids, this extra room will feel totally disconnected with the rest of the house. The hot tub is great, ski-in/ski-out is accessable via a cat track that's about 400 yards from the Home Again trail. It's mostly flat, so you can either hike the 4-5 minutes or push/pole your way in and out. Thanks for a great vacation!!

Thank you for staying with us at Sunrise Ski Haus! We hope to host you another time at a different property. Thank you for your feedback!
Lots of little extras like it being decorated for Christmas and lit up when we arrived. It offers couples areas to share time and space for privacy when needed. Plentiful supply of wood to enjoy the fireplace. Nice kitchen set up for meals in the cabin. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
