Large clean home in Pine Bush near Wallkill Bethel, Watchtower Farm, Ny

This is a typical review of our house, no one ever complains that it is dirty. But as of now we will be allowing at lest a day between guests to do extra sanitizing in view of Covid-19.

Yes, keeping our house clean is also our top priority. We do our best not to misrepresent our home. We like to be honest about everything, so you know exactly what to expect.

We find that most of our guests like our clutter free home. We have just what is needed for a comfortable stay. We know kids can be restless in a new environment so we have a few toys/ games in the cabinet in the dining room. We try not to have too many that way cleaning up after the little ones is not a huge task.

We are glad your group of 9 had enough room. We have beds for 7 and air mattress for an additional 5. We have had groups of 12 and they were also quite comfortable.

Our house dose have many features that allow large groups to spend time together. To start off with there is the huge kitchen, that means there is plenty of space to prepare meals. After all, good food is the glue that bonds family and friends together. Even if there are 2 cooks in the family they usally can get along in our kitchen. The kitchen is easily acesabale from the living room, dining room and entry, so the food is always easy to get to. Unfortunately we don't have a camara that can capture the true beauty of the house. You will just have to come and see it for your self.

When guests leave we check things like if they accidentally packed our hangers, if so we try to replace them before the next guest comes. At times however this small detail is overlooked. And yes, ever since the house was built the upstairs sub floor has been creaky. It dose not seam to bother most guests, perhaps with the changing temperature since spring is coming it is affecting the floors.

The house is large enough for all to feel at home and small enough for friends to feel like family. The house is close enough to all 3 Bethels in NY that the drive will not wear you out. Even when tours are not available you can call the front desk in the morning to check for cancelations.

We are glad you enjoyed our home. We love cooking, so the spices are just a little something we usually have around. Even though this year has been especially rainy, we try to always have some dry wood covered. That way when the clouds break for a day it will be a great evening for a fire. P.S. the auto correct split the last sentence, but I see it was about the dry fire wood.

Before this guest arrived they said they want any suggestions on a relaxing way to the City. The city is stressful enough they wanted to enjoy the ride, so I gave them my 2 cents worth. We have added the 2 optional scenic routes for driving in to NYC on the vrbo app. They are under the transportation icon, along with train info in to Grand Central Station. We are surprised at how many guests still drive across the country to get to NY, and we are glad our house can be the refreshing oasis at the end of thier trip. Please let us know what your plans are so we can add any helpful info to the new vrbo app, for your access and for others also. There is a folder on the kitchen wall with local suggestions if you have an open schedule.

Yes, when the weather turns cold, the ladybugs find their way inside to keep warm. It happens every year for about 3 weeks, but since it is temporary it doesn’t bother many guests.
