Stay in this timeless stone house perched along the Shawangunk Kill and take in all the the Hudson Valley and Catskill range has to offer. Comfortable beds and plenty of options for lounging greet you after a day exploring the nearby Mohonk Mountain Preserve, Minnewaska State Park Preserve or the eclectic towns of New Paltz and Woodstock.

You don’t even need to leave the property to fill your day. Swim, boat and play in complete privacy right out of the back doors.

Enjoy a romantic evening in front of a roaring fire with occasional trips to soak in the outdoor hot tub. Make a campfire and watch the wildlife along the picturesque banks of the lazy Shawangunk Kill (river). There is also a sauna in the house to complete all possible winter warming options.

A note about the cleaning fee. This fee is not only for the cleaning of a very well kept five bedroom house, but also outdoor dining and lounging spaces, cleaning of the hot tub (which is regularly emptied), supply of firewood, removal of what has been copious amounts of trash and cleaning of the boats.

Great for families

So much to do in the house on a rainy day, plus all the wonderful mountains and scenery. Would recommend.

Met our Expectations!

Clean, comfortable older cottage. Great location near hiking. Seth was always accessible. Nice outdoor seating and clean well maintained hottub. Kitchen has everything needed. Beds comfortable. Steps to second floor a bit steep but this was not an issue for us.

Beautiful cottage

Wonderful stay. The gardens are beautiful, and we had lovely evenings in the hot tub. Great host, welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Fun Family Weekend

The Stone House was a really nice place to stay for a few days! It was very clean and well maintained, which was perfect for crawling babies. All of the bedrooms were pretty spacious and the main living area was a great spot to hangout and relax. The house is in a great location too. Close to a lot of wineries, breweries and hiking. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and Seth was very responsive while booking our trip. We had a great time and are so glad we got to stay here!

Charming and peaceful

I appreciated Seth's timely response when I had questions. The property was perfect for a peaceful Thanksgiving away from NYC. Yet, very convenient and short drive from NYC. The property is maintained well and equipped with everything you need.
