Great location, easily accessible, clean, and comfortable beds. Walking distance to the beach on mission bay and a few restaurants, markets and coffee shops. The house is well laid out too. Could not get the fireplace on the roof to work, but the one in the living room did. Host should probably provide some drink coasters to protect the tables.

Would rather not write a review. We had several occasions of ants in the unit, which was not comfortable for my 81 year mother or our 3 yr old granddaughter. When I notified the owner, I was told "It's an unfortunate situation. It's hot and dry and everyone has ants". No offer to do anything about it.The floors, luxury vinyl plank, were not well cleaned. All of us had black sox and feet. Neither was a deal breaker, but for what we paid it was unfortunate.

The house was a nice location but I expected the back patio and upper deck to be clean. The tables were dirty and the upper deck looked liked nothing had been done. We had ants in the bathrooms but they brought us ant spray which helped.The main floor had very filthy floors! Those who went barefoot had black feet. I have rented many a VRBO houses before and this kitchen had minimal supplies. Couldn't find any baking pans or a baking sheet. No tin foil or baggies. We wanted to BBQ but there were only rusty BBQ tools. No tongs.

Such a nice home to stay in! The beds were comfortable, the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, and the price for location was awesome. The place itself and the host communication are 5/5 stars. Thought it would have been nice if the house were slightly cleaner upon arrival.

Fantastic location

Lovely home with a great floor plan for a large group. Walking distance to so many things. Sunrise and sunset in the upper deck is simply icing on the cake.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Mission Bay. A short drive to the ocean and Mission Beach. Nicely appointed home. Great for families. Off street parking in the garage. The gas fireplaces on each level are a nice touch.

Great stay

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect, just a few minute walk to the beach! The garage parking was a great asset. Host was great with communication, which made our trip even smoother. Minor issues were there were no trash bags, and some of the towels were still damp. Not a big deal though, there was a washer and dryer there. Would stay there again!

There are many excellent points to this property. The location and overall cleanliness were positive, and the host was fairly responsive, although more on this below. The place was also decorated thoroughly; although I don't need that sort of thing, I understand that others appreciate it.A couple small hiccups:1. When we checked in, we quickly realized that there shower faucet diverter in the upstairs non-master bathroom was missing, and hence you couldn't take showers in that restroom, only baths. I notified the manager of this (by text) as a courtesy since we could adapt to just using other showers at all during our brief stay. I was taken aback when the manager's initial response by text was a seemingly rather and needlessly confrontational "Prove it I don’t understand what are talking about???". She later called, and I realized that there likely is a language and cultural gap. Perhaps whenever she is from such a response from a host is normal and acceptable. Admittedly American me was a bit taken aback by the her initial response. Regardless, the problem was quickly repaired the next day.2. As I believe some other reviewers have mentioned, the floors on the first floor were a bit sandy in some areas. I assume previous occupants went to the beach and brought sand back and that the floors weren't able to receive a good vacuuming in the turnover prior to our arrival.To be clear, I overall very much appreciated our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Perfect Place

The property was as advertised. It was perfect for the eight of us. I short walk to the beach was a great way to start each day. Everywhere we needed to go was a short distance away and the dining area and kitchen were perfect for breakfast and dinner. We may have ridden the bikes if the tires were inflated. Tires were a little sketchy. Thank you.

Such a great place!

Overall our experience was amazing! The owner texted us when the house was open up earlier than check in time which was much appreciated. The house has so much sleeping space and is so cute! The bunk beds could actually even sleep 4 people. My only complaint is that the place was advertised as a two car parking garage but when we got there were boxes and supplies in the way and we couldn’t park both of our small cars in there. There was street parking in front but it was still a bummer. Overall the place was clean, beautiful and lots of space. Definitely would stay here again!
