Our multigenerational family loved staying at this Harwich rental home. Check in and check out was seamless and the host responded quickly to any questions. The location is ideal, close to Harwich beaches, shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the pond. We highly recommend this wonderful rental home.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Great location with easy access to anywhere on the Cape. The beach is very nice and the lake is a pleasant spot for kayaking. The biggest issue is that you spend your last morning doing laundry because the host requires you to wash the bedding and towels. I think most people would gladly pay a little extra to have that that done for them and spend that time enjoying the property .
We had a wonderful week on Bucks Pond. Great little beach with kayaks and a paddle boat, clean and spacious house, and a great deck and outdoor space. Would definitely recommend.
Our family had a great time on the pond! Great location and easy access for a fun day at Martha’s Vineyard. Families beware, plan on spending your last day doing laundry. We started the washer at 7:30 am and kept it running and still didn’t get it all done. Unfortunately, our wonderful vacation ended on a stressful note due to the laundry. We still had a great time and made wonderful memories!

Pleasant and Relaxing
The overall experience was quite enjoyable. The owner was very pleasant and prompt with any questions we had prior to our arrival. We absolutely loved the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy the evenings free of pests. We also took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boat which were provided. The home was comfortable and clean, though it took some time to figure out all of the light switches! The queen bedroom downstairs was not the most comfortable, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker and as someone who loves to cook I'd like to see a bit more kitchen utensils. My only suggestion for outside is to make that middle light on the patio a ceiling fan/light combo to further enjoy those warm summer nights. The location is great, the house was well-kept and it was a fantastic family friendly area not far from the bike path or children's playground.
This Cape home was lovely and the location perfect for our needs. It was nicely furnished, neat and clean and the accommodations were wonderful. The owners Jennifer and Glenn were terrific. There were a couple of minor issues upon our arrival and they responded immediately to solve them.
We have stayed at many places on the Cape, and this is the best by far. Its lakeside location and wonderful amenities made it a perfect family vacation. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
The property is beautiful. We spent most of our time on the screened-in porch enjoying the view of the lake. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pedal boat and kayaks as well! The outdoor shower was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and Jennifer and Glenn were amazing to work with. They were very accommodating to me and my family when we had challenges with our travel day. Wonderful hosts! We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you!
Awesome house on Buck’s PondThis is the second year
We were so lucky to stay at this incredible house again this year!!! It’s our family’s weekly vacation on Cape Cod, Dad, Mom, daughter and husband, son and two 7 year old cousins!!! The beautifully decorated home had everything we needed and when we had a problem, it was dealt with immediately! Buck’s Pond was a big draw for fishing, swimming, and playing! I was amazed at how creative the grandchildren were at keeping themselves busy at the pond! They just loved it! Hopefully we’ll be able to stay again next year! Thanks so much Jennifer and your very helpful husband!
We visited this home for our yearly summer trip to the Cape and absolutely loved the property! It’s close to everything but feels delightfully quiet and private. The shared spaces both inside and out were perfect for our family because we love to all be together cooking and eating and relaxing. The pond view was gorgeous and having the kayaks and paddleboat available was so much fun.
The house truly does have everything you could want in a summer Cape vacation rental! We really enjoyed our stay.
Side note: we used our own towels and linens for the most part so we didn’t have to do a ton of laundry on Saturday morning. But it is all provided.
This property is in a great neighborhood with a beautiful lakeview. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and paddle boat and liked that the house had two different levels. We were close to some of the other Cape towns which allowed us to explore their downtowns. We loved our summer vacation.
We have used this property for years and enjoyed it especially this year as the weather was great. The location is convenient to both Harwich and Chatham with the added advantage of being on a fresh water pond (a New England term for a small lake!). If the wind and/or temperature at the beach are not good, the pond is more protected and you can still enjoy swimming and boating.
Our stay at this beautiful home was wonderful! The home was clean, comfortable, roomy and had a wonderful view of the pond. Sitting on the screened in porch , had you feeling like you were right on the water. There was plenty of seating for inside and out for relaxing and enjoying the view. We will definitely be returning to this lovely home.
This is a lovely home right on Bucks Pond. My son and grandkids went kayaking every day, sometimes twice. While the location was a little confusing at first, we quickly realized how convenient it was to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was very nice and extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and Jennifer was very gracious and accommodating.
My friends went and enjoyed their stay. The weather was not in their favor but made the best of it. I unfortunately was ill and couldn’t make it. They loved the house and all the amenities.I would love to try going again, but I would go June or early September. Host Jennifer was very easy to reach out to. KC
We had a wonderful family vacation in this lakeside home. The house is well-equipped for a family — lake “toys”, kitchen needs, linens, etc. The house is impeccably clean and open concept so amenable to an easy use of the kitchen, dining area, and living room. We go to the Cape almost every year and this is the best house!
This was our second summer at Clearwater Drive and it was a hit for the whole family once again. We love this place, it’s the perfect spot for young families and super accessible to all of the Cape.
The house is really clean and really well stocked with everything you need. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, body boards, floats. Pretty much everything you need for a day at the beach. Also the screened-in porch which looks out over the water is a huge plus. We pretty much spend our whole time out there when in the house. Coffee and breakfast in the morning. Card games and reading in the afternoon and drinks in the evening. It’s a great spot to watch storms roll through too. And the icing on the cake is bucks pond. Having very easy access to this freshwater pond is so amazing. It’s shallow for the little kids to splash and play for hours on end. We love spending the day there, doing a little fishing early morning, or ending the day with a swim in the pond. Jennifer and Glenn are super gracious hosts and they are close by so very easy to communicate with if you need anything. We are already dreaming about our stay next summer!!
This was our yearly vacation stay which included a Mother, Father, daughter and husband, son and 2, 6 year old grandchildren. The pics of the house don’t do it justice! It is much larger than it appears! The furnishings are beautiful! The screened in porch was wonderful and enjoyed by everyone. We loved being steps from the pond! The water is very clear and we can attest that there’s lots of fish to be caught and then we released them. The grands were in and out of the water several times a day. Lots of room here to spread out. Sunsets were awesome! Jennifer got back to us immediately whenever we had questions! We had a fun-filled vacation and we’re looking forward to returning next year! Many thanks to Jennifer and her husband!
The location is great: right on Buck’s Pond and close to several towns on the Cape. The house is extremely well stocked with all the things you want and often don’t get in a vacation rental: kitchen supplies; bath and beach towels; all kinds of outdoor chairs; kayaks, floats and more stuff for the beach. The host, Jennifer, is helpful and very responsive.
My family and I stayed for a week in June and felt the home and the lake it was situated on was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean. It was peaceful, relaxing and quiet there. The lake was picturesque and perfect for everyone aged 2-70 to enjoy. From splashing in the water by the sand bar to kayaking, we created memories few homes could offer. As an added bonus, the fully screened-in upper porch made enjoying every form of weather the Cape has to offer an absolute treat. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for letting us use your wonderful property!
House was larger than expected as was Bucks Pond! The back deck view was fantastic at all hours and the surrounding neighborhood was super quiet while we were there. Loved the easy water access just down the stairs for a quick kayak ride and the beach being literally a one minute walk was super nice for a morning stroll. Central Cape location made for easy exploring in all directions. House interior was nice and clean with just about everything you'd need for a stay. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows & blankets available. It's a great house in a great location. Only item of note is having to wash sheets and towels prior to leaving. We were fortunate that we did not have to depart super early to wash and dry our two loads, but keep that in mind if you do, otherwise no complaints at all!

What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this home because of the open concept, vast water views and peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal with a walkable neighborhood, proximity to Harwichport, Chatham and many fantastic beaches.
