Adventure starts right outside the door—ride your ATV directly from the driveway to the Hatfield & McCoy Trails, or cruise into town for dining, gas, and local conveniences. Close to Bluefield College and area amenities, this rider-ready home blends rustic charm with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Full with Twin Trundle) plus a Queen pull-out sofa, comfortably sleeping up to 11 guests. With 2 full bathrooms and TWO large living rooms, there’s plenty of space to spread out, gather together, or relax in peace.
The home features a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, coffee station (pods + flat filter), strong Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches throughout. The entry mudroom is perfect for muddy boots and gear, complete with washer, dryer, bench seating, and storage.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
- Cut the air conditioner temperature to 75 degrees, heat temperature to 65 degrees (depending on the season).
- The grill and utensils should be clean.
- Report any lost or damaged items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The mudroom is a great place to keep your mud! The washer and dryer are there, we have a bench to remove your shoes, hang coats and more.
Only behaved and house trained pets., please! You will be charged damages your pet or humans cause. It is up to you toinspect the property for safety.

The house was beautiful and conventionally located! The host took care of us above and beyond, one of the best host we have ever had at a short term rental! The house provided everything we needed and more.

The property was great with plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and baking. Beds were comfortable and the couch was big enough for all of us to sit and enjoy movies. There was also plenty of space for all of us at the dining room table. I should have checked with the owner about the handicapped accessibility of the house. We traveled with my mother, who uses a cane. She was able to get in the house with the use of a portable step we found in the closet of the main bedroom. However, she could not get on the bed in the downstairs bedroom and could not get into the tub downstairs. We were able to utilize the couch bed for her, which worked just fine. Again, I should have asked. We would definitely stay again!

We are from Chesapeake, VA in Southeastern VA and have been visiting and riding the Hatfield & McCoy Trails for almost 10 years. Our boys grew up on the trails, riding their own ATVs. We hope you will enjoy this home as much as we do - with convenience to everything Bluewell has to offer to being able to ride directly to the trails. Ask us anything - we are here to help!

Why they chose this property

Through the years, we have made several friends in Bluewell and are thrilled we have several friends locally who help us make sure the house is clean, serviced and has everything it needs. We love the lower trails, they are perfect for family riding as well as seeing the WV sites!

What makes this property unique

We outfitted this house with comfort, cleanliness and families in mind. While it is perfect for a group of friends coming to ride, it is also exceptional for families who want to spend time together, visit WV, attend events, have a nice getaway and more. The washer and dryer allow you to pack lightly and there are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby if you do not feel like cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. There is a detached garage behind the house with a bay dedicated to our guests and their storage. The front porch is perfect for sitting and relaxing while the back of the house is set up for gathering and grilling. There is something for everyone and we take pride in providing the comforts of home!
