The Palms brought to you by Luxury Beach Rentals in Myrtle Beach SC is a gorgeous 6 bedroom 6.5 bath oceanfront home with huge pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, putting green and elevator. This house has panoramic ocean views from nearly every room. The house features two oceanfront master suites. All bedrooms have their own attached bathrooms plus a common half bath on the main level. The house also features a gourmet kitchen with two dishwashers and large bar top. The house has a large open upper deck off master and large main level covered deck with sitting area and uncovered area for sunbathing. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs and living room has 70" smart tv. House square footage is approximately 5200. Pool is 30' x 17 and 3' to 5' deep.

Best Rental Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Beautiful Spot, But the House Needs Major Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this beach house was excellent, but the property itself really needs attention. Several of the beach chairs were broken, part of the fence had a broken panel, and the walkway to the beach was overgrown. The pool area was also poorly maintained and overgrown. It was frustrating to see the neighboring homes—rented by the same company—well kept, while this one was not. Although we saw the pool crew on site, the pool itself was not cleaned very well.Inside, we ran into multiple issues. Out of six bathrooms, one toilet had a broken seal that required lifting the lid to refill, and another ran constantly. The kitchen had an ant problem, and the sofa had noticeable stains that made it feel unclean. The second dishwasher didn’t work (and was filled with dirty dishes upon arrival), and the freestanding ice maker was also broken.Other problems included loose deck boards, a broken pool safety railing, and stained bedspreads that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, the property did not look like the photos advertised. The listing should be updated so guests are not misled or disappointed by the misrepresentation.This house has a lot of potential, but in its current state of maintenance and cleanliness, it was very disappointing for the price we paid.

We would book this house again. there were a few things that were minor that didn't affect our experience there but see the following items.1) a knife set is needed 2) the one dishwasher doesn't work3) handrail on the deck needs attention4) refrigerator in the master suite doesn't work5) master bedroom door doesn't close so it can be locked6) a lot of fishing hooks and line was left on the ground where we walk which we cleaned up7) could use more hangers in the closet8) a few extra kitchen towels9) clean the pool one more time during the stay and provide a skimmer that we could use to help keep it clean10) ice maker needs cleaned very bad, we did not use it - there was black stuff in it. 11) remove damaged items left behind from previous guests - beach chairs, rafts etc12) WIFI could have been better

Wonderful Ladies’ Retreat!

What a perfect spot for college friends celebrating their 60th birthdays! We loved everything about this house on the beach. We spent countless hours in the pool, hot tub and walking the beach. The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals onsite. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The house was spotless and perfect for the seven of us! Thanks for your hospitality!!!!

Wonderful vacation home

Excellent communication booking this home. Every time I called with questions before the trip, they are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. When I would contact the host, I was answered within 24 hours.My family loved this home. It was great to be able to see the ocean right out the windows. We had 8 adults and a 1-year-old. The 2 large tables and plenty of chairs was more than enough for all of us. The couch was huge and we were all able to sit and watch TV if we wanted. We needed a crib and high chair and were able to get them from a company called Vacation Rental. They do not deliver to this area so we picked them up, it was about 15 minutes from airport. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. I paid to have them heated and they were on our arrival. Everyone was excited to either use them or walk to the ocean and swim. Under the house, there is a box that has all kinds of pool toys and MANY boogie boards. I wish I had known that before going out and buying them. I found that the sliding doors out to the deck were hard to open and close. I am 70 years old and had to have someone open them for me. I did report it and hopefully they will do something to make it easier. Other than that, it was everything we had hoped for. The elevator was a big plus to me. If we are ever going to do a family vacation again, this would be our place!

Great location + home

We loved our stay at The Palms! The size was perfect, we loved the layout + location. The house could use a little sprucing up (painting, updating, just comparing to homes we have rented in same price range). Rental company was amazing and very easy to contact . Would stay here again for sure !

Thanksgiving Vacation

Lovely property and beautiful views! Elevator and walk in showers benefitted our older family members. Location is within minutes of all shopping necessities, restaurants, Mini golf and pier.

Nice Beach House

Property was very clean. The location was magnificent. Beautiful ocean view. The only issues were a Sonos player that we had trouble hooking up, a gas grill with a broken ignition, and some of the outdoor porch furniture was still inside. Other than that, it was a beautiful experience.

Location of property was ideal, in between the campground and the Myrtle Beach park. Plenty of bedrooms for our family. Heater on spa broke day after we checked in. Pool service company repaired it day after Memorial Day and rental agency gave us credit for days we couldn't use it. A number of small maintenance issue; none of the issues were significant.

Beach fun

Great house on beautiful part of beach. Convenient drive to the Boardwalks, restaurants and grocery stores. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own beds and bathrooms. We liked that the bedrooms had 2 beds in each upstairs. Only issue, not a real issue, when pool is cleaned, (twice a week) there is no water in the house. Doesn't last long, but not good when you're in the shower. Great family house, this was our second trip and we'll definitely be back.

Spring Break

House was beautiful, right on the beach. Kids loved having their own bathroom. Open living with room for everyone. Pool and hot tub were heated which was very nice. Close to everything. Only issue was a main level bedroom bathroom had a whistle that was very random, sounded like an alarm. Would definitely book and again and recommend.

Excellent Location, House needs work.

We really enjoyed the location of this property and the beach was not crowded at all. It was very confusing at first finding the house when we checked in as the house is not the same color in the picture. The picture shows blue, it is actually yellow. The elevator was nice, the kitchen was nice and big, and the master bathroom was very large and spacious and spa like. Pool and hot tub are nice and the outdoor putt putt area was fun. While the house was nice and big, it needs work and maintenance throughout. Light bulbs were blown inside and out, one of the main level bedroom toilets makes a very loud whistling noise when it flushes, pool and hot tub lights do not work, mattresses are very well used and sunken where people have slept over the years. Living room and dining room furniture felt dated. A lot of interior doors do not latch or lock properly. The screen sliding doors are falling off the tracts. There was an exterior outlet on the deck that was falling out of its place. We found a chewed piece of gum sitting on the ledge of the master bedroom shower. Rust and paint chipping especially on metal and around sliding doors. One upstairs bathroom tub stopper upstairs was broke and one shower in an upstairs bedroom had a curtain that when pulled tight still wouldn’t cover the opening completely. Overall it was a nice stay, but for the money spent, we expected more and think there needs to be a lot of maintenance and upkeep.

Disaster Vacation:

At this property, it was nice to have several rooms, bathrooms, large gathering areas inside and out, a pool & hot tub, great AC, and an elevator. Very much so happy with this aspect of our stay. However, on our first night there, we were preparing dinner in the (rather small/poorly situated) kitchen. The electric stovetop sparked several times with really loud banging. We called the emergency line and got a call back quickly that maintenance would arrive in 45mins. This left us without a way to complete our dinner...let alone all of the $400 week worth of groceries we which would require a stovetop. We were asked to shut off the breaker for the stovetop, but they were not labeled correctly. The maintenance staff told us that they would get back to us by Monday to fix the issue. We slept with the fire extinguisher ready because we felt so unsafe. There was a snake in the pool! (Can’t blame the property owners for nature, but just be aware!) One night,all night, an alarm was sounding off very loudly in the front yard. The emergency line was called and someone was out quickly to fix the sub-pump alarm. We awoke to two different alarm clocks going off at 0600am since they had not been reset. So thankful it didn't wake the 2 year old! The beach hoses for the shower were split. The owners ordered 3 electric free-standing burners, only one of them would boil water. We were told that the stovetop needed a part that would come in on Thursday. On Thursday no one came out to fix the stovetop; it wasn’t resolved until Friday. We called in the middle of the week because we found our car to be covered in lint and drywall. The hose and cap for the dryer had come out of the ceiling which was located above my car. Someone came out and fixed this rather quickly. I had to pay to get my car washed because we couldn’t get the drywall off my windshield. Then on our last full day (Friday) we were trying to do some laundry and the washing machine just stopped working and locked my mothers clothing inside. Maintenance came out and had to cut open the machine to get the clothes out. Never got to do any other laundry because the washer was broken. The electric in this house is very sketchy, the lights would flicker a great deal and to have had so many appliances break! We were not compensated for any of our troubles throughout the week. It was very stressful to have our plans interrupted while on vacation.

The house is big with plenty of space for everyone. The living room area is open with room for the whole family to hang out in. We were there when the remnants from a hurricane coming up from Florida came through. Luxury Rentals was very good with staying in communication the whole time. They were very good to deal with. I would use them for a vacation rental again. The Market Commons is a shopping area close by that we went to often for food and entertainment. Although we did not go to the State Park, it is next door to the neighborhood. We would go back to this property again.
