About this property
Marshfront Home with Kayaks & Cove Access
Our 4-bedroom, 2-bath home is tucked away on over 4 acres of private saltmarsh on Wareham's Great Neck. It offers peaceful views of the sunrise and easy access to Sunset Cove, Shell Point Beach, and Onset Beach. It’s a quiet spot, with Onset Village only a paddle away.
We have an open kitchen, dining, and living area that lets in plenty of natural light and opens up to a large back patio. There is a lovely first-floor primary suite with three more bedrooms and a second full bath upstairs.
You’ll be comfortable with all the necessary amenities including WiFi, mini-split heating and cooling, and a full washer and dryer on the main floor. Outside, you can gather around the fire pit or fire up the Pit Boss smoker grill.
There are guest passes to both Swifts Beach and Little Harbor Beach. Minutes away are Cape Cod League baseball games, scenic hiking trails, prime fishing spots, water whizz, and all the charm of coastal Massachusetts.
Five kayaks are included to explore the nearby coves and beaches. Whether you're fishing, paddling, or simply watching the tide roll in, the water is your backyard.

About the host
Hosted by Julie Sugarbaker
I split my time between work and family life, and this home has become a special retreat for me. I enjoy being near the water, walking the marsh paths, and finding quiet moments away from the rush of everyday life. Hosting allows me to share this space with others looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to unwind.
Why they chose this property
I was drawn to this spot because it feels like a hidden coastal pocket—peaceful, natural, and simple. The views change with the tide, and there’s a real sense of calm here. I love being close to the water and still just a short paddle from beaches, or drive to hikes, and local shops.
What makes this property unique
The house is set on over four acres of marshland, offering quiet, privacy, and views you won’t find just anywhere. With access to the cove, at high-tide, you can kayak straight from the yard. The layout is simple but comfortable, with just enough space to relax without feeling overwhelmed. It’s a great blend of nature and practicality—ideal for families, couples, or anyone needing a real break.
