Welcome to Hilltop Cottage! Nestled in the Southern Cascade foothills of Oregon, we invite you to come relax in our cozy haven. We offer a wholly amazing experience by healing your body from the inside out during your unforgettable stay using the amazing healing potential of the EESystem. Perfectly situated at the base of the Umpqua National Forest, our Cottage gives access to amazing hiking trails and waterfalls, world class fishing, beautiful wineries and so much more!
The space
Above the little town of Glide, we invite you to come relax in our comfortable cottage up on the hill. Here at Hilltop, we think a little outside the box compared to other places. While offering a comfy bed to rest on, we want to heal your body as you unwind while experiencing the remarkable healing possibilities of the Energy Enhancement System. This stunning technology combines Body, Mind, Spirit and Science to allow your cells to heal and regenerate, detoxify your body, improve your immune function and so much more all while simply resting. The EES is an ecologically and environmentally safe system used by individuals, doctors, and therapists as well as Meditation and Wellness Centers to improve human development and psychological well-being.
Quiet and peaceful, your stay includes a large single room that contains comfortable recliners to choose from, end stands that contain a charging station and outlets and a beautiful armoire to place your belongings and also holds books for reading and a small assortment of activities for entertainment. A large, wall mounted 65" TV is available for you to enjoy along with Netflix and YouTube Premium.
We have two, comfy twin beds with 100% cotton sheets, both firm and soft pillows, and ultra soft fleece blankets and quilts with the option to bring in two more beds if needed. All of our beds are cushioned with both a gel foam mattress topper followed by our extra plush, cooling pillow topper to give the perfect combination of support and luxury comfort. Stationed in each corner stand computer towers that house our amazing EESystem that will give this unique experience only offered here at Hilltop Cottage.
We have a cozy kitchenette with brand new custom cabinetry, well stocked with all the basics and beyond such as toaster, utensils, (sharp!) knives, non-stick Carote cookware set, double induction cooktop, rice cooker, etc. We provide a Keurig single serve coffee maker, a French press and a Ninja Professional Plus blender to make your delicious smoothies! Help yourself to vinegar and oil, assortment of organic spices and a full coffee and tea bar with all the extras. A complimentary continental breakfast is included with each night of your stay as well!
We have a bathroom with sink and shower with towels and complimentary earth conscious soaps, shampoo and conditioners provided as well. Outside, you have a private patio with two beautiful tables and four comfortable patio chairs that overlook a small orchard and a gorgeous view of Mount Scott and the foothills dipping down into Glide.

Other things to note
To Our Guests,
Welcome to the country, mountain life full of beautiful sights and sounds with a bit of unpredictability sprinkled in. We love living up here where the scent of blackberries in the summer tickle your nose and the breezes from the valley slip over your skin almost every evening. We want you to keep a few things in mind during your stay here so read on and maybe pack an umbrella...just in case.
1. Weather likes to be changeable. We have a saying around here, if you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes! You can have all four seasons in the span of one hour, we've seen it happen So, when the sun has you a bit flushed, maybe a glass of iced tea in the shade or if a passing rain shower puts a hiccup into your plans, grab one of our cozy throws and curl up on our patio rocker. And keep an eye out for Double rainbows... Mother Nature can be spectacular!
2. Guard Dog is on duty. With our loyal Henry around to keep an eye on things...he may also have a tendency to bark at his shadow...and the wind...and that bird that gave him the evil eye. He's not aggressive towards, just likes to be heard.
3. Up here in the hills, we can often see many types of wildlife from deer and possums, wild turkeys, vultures or hawks and you might catch a glimpse of a soaring bald eagle. As great as they are to see, we strongly encourage you to only admire from a distance while they pose for your camera. Please be aware, we are also home to some less sociable neighbors such as black bear, coyotes, fox, bobcat and the occasional cougar. Do not attempt to approach, feed, cuddle, etc. any of the wildlife. For those who would like, we are more than happy to take you down to meet the noisy hens at the chicken coop. Our cackling bunch would love you to throw them seed or leftover goodies!
4. Take the time to enjoy the beautiful drive up on the gravel road. There are so many picturesque viewpoints along the way with wildflowers, towering firs, wild lilac and in the spring the wild plum trees show us their beautiful blossoms. As one of my favorite sayings goes, "Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are the paths untaken."
Come and join us a bit off the beaten path... Embrace the more rustic, mountain life, dirt and all. We are thrilled to share it with you!
