We are 15 minutes east of Roseburg, on a very beautiful stretch of the North Umpqua river, along the Umpqua Scenic Byway to Diamond and Crater lakes. Also a perfect place to begin your wine tour of the growing Umpqua Valley Wine Country! Whistlers Bend Park is only 4 miles away where you will find one of America's best Disc Golf courses, a play structure for the kids, safe river spot to play in, and a boat ramp.

The house is warm and inviting, with 5 bedrooms plus a bonus 6th room off the garage; 3 of the cozy bedrooms (which are furnished with position adjustable queen beds and curtains for privacy) offer a stunning river view. There are 5 common areas including the dining room, front River Room off the kitchen, living room, large Family Room and ping pong in the finished garage. Internet is available as is a 65” Smart TV with complimentary Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN accounts along with a small dvd library. Games for family fun and a ping pong table are provided.

Whistlers River House is amazing. The view of the river is spectacular and being able to hear the river was a huge surprise. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware and utensils. We saw deer, wild turkeys, and a bald eagle from the back deck. Truly a beautiful place to stay.

This property was absolutely beautiful and in a very peaceful setting. We sat and watch a small herd of deer literally frolicking and playing in the yard adjacent. It was truly a magical experience. We had a couple of hiccups on a few things but the owners were quick to respond and try to correct. They were wonderful to work with, especially Ruth. Our group highly recommends this property should you be looking for a great getaway.

We stayed here for our Granddaughter wedding at Terringer farm. The house is big with enough space for everyone. There are 3 bedrooms on one side and 3 on the other side. The one bedroom of of the garage doesn't have air or heat from the house. It was very warm. So the one side was warmer and the other side was colder. We did have a great time!

Family wedding

We had a family wedding in the area. Whistler's Lane was a wonderful place for us to gather and prepare refreshments for the reception. It was nice to be able to accommodate our group without feeling cramped. There are plenty of gathering places in and outside. It is close to Roseburg where you can find what you need. Birthday Getaway

From Roseburg and we rented this for my daughter to have friends stay at a fun place for her birthday. Each of my daughters brought two friends so it was my wife and six teenagers. They loved it. Huge house, nice kitchen, great view of the river and plenty of games.

Shortly after the purchase, my dad had a stroke and during the extensive remodel, Dad passed away. Now I am helping mom to make this beautiful home available to you so that you can enjoy this beautiful part of Oregon. The Mighty and Scenic North Umpqua River is truly a sight to behold. Travel West to Roseburg to enjoy the Umpqua Valley Wine Country, or travel East to discover countless waterfalls, Diamond Lake Recreation Area, and the incomparable beauty of Crater Lake National Park.
