We were welcomed with donuts which was a thoughtful touch. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts responded immediately to questions. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay and were so impressed with the beautiful farmhouse and surroundings. It was exceptionally clean and decorated with such quality and comforting furnishings. The ease of access and hospitable touches were greatly appreciated as well. We hope to return for multiple visits to spend time with family in the future.
Perfect, convenient place to stay while visiting family over Thanksgiving! Spacious, well equipped kitchen, awesome donuts upon arrival, and thankful to host for allowing us to check in early!
House was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great spot for large family gatherings. Only caution is that stairs are a little precarious if you have older family members.
We could not be more pleased with our experience. The host was very accommodating and the house was beautiful and clean and was perfect for our group! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back.
The home was beautiful and well situated between its residential neighborhood and business area. It is unassuming from the outside but once you get inside it’s a different world. Close to the university, as well as the airport. I would recommend and stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay - it was great to be able to have family gather together in a beautiful home. The kids enjoyed playing outside and the neighborhood was great.
Our family loved our stay at the farmhouse and can’t wait to come back! It was so clean and so comfortable, and has a great layout. We also really liked the location, it was easy to get around Rochester.
Had a wonderful and comfortable time with family. Lots of room for everyone and an amble kitchen for cooking for a crowd. The hosts even left an assortment of donuts to great us.
Our stay on Portland Ave was a huge blessing for our family. It was comfortable with 2 different sitting areas, a large dining room table, and enough room to roam around without feeling crowded. In the evening we all sat outside and enjoyed the surroundings, (although more outdoor chairs would be helpful.) The upstairs bedrooms were all comfortable with air conditioners in each room. We all loved the history of the property, too. Great place to stay for a family.
This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely house, and will certainly be back. We had a kiddo graduating from college in the area, and it was a perfect place to have family gather during that time. Thanks so much!
What a wonderfully done renovation. Plenty of space both on the interior and exterior. More than once my children commented that they would want to move the house to our hometown.
This home is just perfect! The renovation is beautifully done and literally everything you could need is there. My family is spread out around the Rochester area and this property is perfectly located. It is large, comfortable and pet friendly. The yard is fantastic. We will definitely book again for our next trip to Rochester!
We stayed here with my sister in law. It was a great place to stay and get ready for her wedding. You can really tell how much hard work and love went into this home. Everything was thought of as far as necessities. A lovely home I would say.
In town for our daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place to prepare for the wedding and photograph the bride and groom. We appreciate this home and the owner’s. We will be returning someday.

Absolutely awesome house
We have been going on girl trips for 23 years. This historic property ranks at the top of our favorite venues. It was so centrally located in the area we were interested in. Such a pleasure to be able to unwind at the end of our day at this roomy, beautiful home.
We’ve stayed here 5xs and it’s always wonderful! My husband and I grew up in Rochester, so we stay here whenever we come back to visit. Beautifully remodeled old farmhouse with so much charm and space! Highly recommend staying here! The backyard alone if you have kids is the best !!! They can run all day! lol wide open space!
We were very satisfied with our stay in this comfortable house. We tended to be out most of the day and returned for relaxing evenings. The weather did not cooperate with our hopes to see the solar eclipse, but everything else was very nice. We would certainly recommend this house as an excellent vacation stay.
