The listing does not do this place justice. It is amazing. From the time you walk through the front door and see the amazing view out the back door you are amazed. More than enough space and the house is spotless. Olga did an amazing job of communicating. We could not recommend this place more and hopefully can go back

A PALATIAL RETREAT

Caso Faro Azul is one of the most spectacular properties at which we have had the pleasure of staying. Overlooking a high bluff over the Gulf of Nicoya on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, one has an incomparable panoramic view across the water. The Areal volcano framed by its cloud cover is off to the north. All of this while relaxing and playing in the infinity pool on the western edge of the property. The sunsets in the west are spectacular and a fitting end of each day during our stay at this magical retreat. Make your reservation as fast as you can. Perfect for our party of 8 adults and 4 young children.

Absolutely outstanding experience! The best house in Los Suenos community!

This is the biggest and most modern house in community. It’s not our first time in Costa Rica and this house just amazed all my family! Bright space, huge living room, game room, movie theatre, stunning view, infinity pool! We stayed for a whole month of January and it was just perfect all month long. Olga was just brilliant with all the help and organization! All possible help was provided by Olga, she would cordinate stuff in the house so they are in better help, coordinate housekeepers, book us all the adventure trips, call us transfers, book cars for rent and available to answer any time.

Home Away from Home

We could not have been happier with this property. From the moment we were picked up at the Airport to the time we were dropped off, we had 5 star service from every member of the staff. Transportation was exemplary. House cleaning were like ninjas and would sneak in your room and the next moment it was clean again. The Chef and her team were superb, and I think we each gained weight. :) The property is in a gated community, and we always felt safe. As for nature, more birds than i can keep track and monkeys, whales, and other wildlife were plentiful. We plan on returning.

Beautiful Property

The property exceeded expectations even though we had seen the photos! The staff was friendly and attentive and did an excellent job of keeping the house clean and neat. Olga made arrangements ahead of time and, lucky for us, on the spur of the moment answering our every need. This was our first time in Costa Rica so, as we became more familiar with the area, our interests expanded. We opted for a driver with a large, comfortable van. We were so happy with Marvin and Hillary. They were a joy to work with and so considerate of our needs. I highly recommend them as, not only transportation, but a joyful part of the vacation. Overall, we could not have had a better experience. Pura Vida!!!

Most beautiful home we've ever stayed in !!!

This house is incredible. Everything you could ask for in a vacation home. Staff were very accommodating, and of great benefit. Almost any activity you can think of within an easy travel distance, and Los Seunos has a wonderful choice of restaurants and shopping. The 18 hole golf course and Marina on site are a nice feature as well. If you like to fish, this area has some of the best in the world. Caught a variety of Sails, Dorado, Tuna etc.. Brought it back to the restaurant and they cooked it for dinner. We hired a chef for a couple of days and were not disappointed. Did a great job. Olga will provide Concierge services and book anything you need while at the house. We were treated like Kings and will be back again for sure. Make sure to catch the sunsets from the infinity edge pool late each afternoon with a cool beverage in hand. Never gets old !!!!!

Most incredible Thanksgiving Family Getaway

This Thanksgiving Family Getaway in Jaco, Costa Rica, spanned 6 days and 5 nights, and we enjoyed every min! The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the breathtaking home with an unparalleled view of the Pacific from multiple rooms throughout the house! Olga, the property manager, was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned, making her the best host I've ever encountered in my extensive travels. Olga's recommendations were also spot-on, starting with Chef Pablo. The food was delectable, the staff was professional, not to mention they whipped up killer margaritas! With the house high in the mountains, the drive uphill was steep but the private transportation, also recommended by Olga, was a game-changer! Lastly, this was my family's first time in Costa Rica, and we had no clue on what to expect or where to go, but we always felt safe in the home and with all of Olga's recommendations for local hot spots making our stay even more memorable! Bottom line, everything was wonderful—the house, definitely the host, the cleaning and cooking staff, Chef Pablo, and the private transportation. For an experience of a lifetime, look no further! Olga will ensure your Costa Rican adventure becomes a story you'll reminisce about for decades!

Beware - you will never be able to vacation the same after staying at Casa Faro Azul!

Where do I even begin... Let me start by saying that if you think the photos on the listing are impressive, Casa Faro Azul will blow you away in real life. Its the most spectacular property we've ever had the privilege to stay in. Leaving was the hardest part! We booked Casa Faro for our wedding, and it did not disappoint. Our family & friends were floored with how amazing the property was. From the rooms to the insanely warm infinity pool. Absolute perfection. Olga, the brains and muscle behind everything that goes on with the house, was the easiest to work with, very responsive, and just so helpful in every way. We would not have been able to have our wedding without her! She helped arrange everything down to the private chef, my makeup, flowers, and even a fishing trip for the guys (they came home empty handed though - first time ever in Los Sueños, so it was very sad and almost felt like bad luck before our wedding) We had a full house, which included our 11 month old along with friends & family. There was so much space, that it still felt empty. We spent time in the pool everyday, enjoyed grilling out on the deck, and the spectacular views from all the balconies. The primary suite itself was the size of a decent condo unit, & we were able to use the large walk in closet as a baby bedroom which fit a travel crib! The huge outdoor shower in the bathroom was also such an amazing feature. Casa Faro was a dream and then some - we can't wait to come back!

Casa Faro Azul July 9th through July 15th

Those we worked directly with; Eunice, Francis, Desta, Sergio, Jorge, Roberto and Fabian were excellent! They were thoughtful, customer oriented, and extremely helpful! The house was massive and was billed as "strictly family oriented." I was disappointed that pool cues had broken or missing tips, there were no toys for use in the pool and the TV in the movie room did not work, nor was there any instructions to tell us which of the 4 remotes we had to use to get movies. Earlier I was told there would be a ping pong table there. There was none. In the master bedroom sitting area there was a two inch gap between the overlapping glass panels that acted as doors and we had crabs in the room clacking on the floor all night long. I stuffed a towel between them. I was told there was a super mercado located one mile from the house. It turned out to be over 3 miles away. Initially there was no communication between Olga and the transportation manager, Robert relative to her and my agreement about free transportation to/from the airport. I found Robert to be intimidating, rude and acting as a bully on each of the occasions I dealt with him. He put his desires ahead of those of the customer. Olga was not present during our stay. When a disagreement came up on transportation Olga wrote me an email stating her case. I responded and stated my case. She did not and has not responded to date. Costa Rica-Great, service providers-Great, Olga and Robert--very disappointing

Dear Dale, On behalf of my entire team, I would like to apologize for any dissatisfaction you may have experienced. I want to take this opportunity to clarify some details regarding our communication and the issues you raised. Firstly, I acknowledge that Robert has been working with me for 15 years, and while we strive for perfection, mistakes can happen. In your case, I forgot to inform Robert that I would pay for your round trip from and to the airport, which resulted in me paying over $1000 for your transportation. I made this gesture to rectify my mistake, but unfortunately, I did not receive any acknowledgment or appreciation from you. You had requested transportation for 5 guests, and you provided a van for 7 guests, but during the rental car pickup, you made the driver wait for an hour, for you to finish your paperwork and get your vehicle. Nonetheless, we did not complain and offered our assistance throughout your trip. Regarding the other transportation services, we provided a van for 5 guests, and despite the limited space you get the entire group on the van and it was uncomfortable of course, we accommodated all your bags and items. You had requested the driver to follow you to San Jose and Manuel Antonio, but you again got the entire group on the van. Robert requested an additional $80 from you, which was the total amount you had to pay for your entire transportation. Despite our efforts to please you, you remained unhappy. You expressed dissatisfaction with the maids in the house, but this is a service that comes with the house and is non-negotiable. The maids ensure that the house remains clean and tidy throughout your stay. Regarding the doors, we have a sliding door seal board, and there is no 2-inch separation. However, if you had raised any concerns, we would have addressed them immediately. We are in the middle of nature, and therefore, we have crabs, mosquitoes, frogs, and other wildlife around. The crabs may knock on the doors, but they do not cause any harm, and many guests find it enjoyable. The pool has a few small pieces missing at the edge, and we are caring for it. The ping pong table was not offered in the rental, but we have ordered one, and it will arrive next week. The TV system was changed, and we sent the new manual for printing. Fabian explained how to use it. I gave you two options for the supermarket, one that was more expensive but closer to the house, and another that was cheaper but 10 minutes

Amazing house and overall experience with family to celebrate the New Year!

Had an amazing week with my entire family, 17 people ranging in age from 5 to 76. The house could not be more spectacular, with to-die-for views of the ocean, distant mountains, the Costa Rican coastline, and the most gorgeous sunset every night. We saw the most beautiful birds grazing in the trees. We were constantly on the lookout for the rainbow-colored macaws, who have the most vibrant feathers and travel in pairs. My sister also saw toucans in the trees on a walk near the house. The neighborhood is safe and gated. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. All of the rooms are spread out so no one was on top of each other, and we all had our own space. It felt palatial! The kids loved hanging out in the basement, playing pool or watching a movie. The house cleaners were so kind and friendly and kept the house immaculate. They even folded my clothes if they arrived in the morning and my clothes were still in the dryer. Property manager Olga is the best!! She was always at my beck and call whenever I had a question. Could not have been more responsive and upbeat. Jorge provided us with groceries (we gave Olga a list) upon our arrival, and he came to the house a few times to check to see if we needed anything and to fix a maintenance issue (no heat in one shower). He was always smiling! I asked for party hats and blowers for New Year's Eve, and the next day, they were sitting on the table in a bag. We had Kenia and her team of chefs make us dinner every night. Everything was delicious. We loved chatting with Kenia and her husband Moises. They felt like family! My only complaint was that our driver didn't speak English, which was a challenge, as you are completely dependent on transportation to go anywhere, including the beach. Olga let us know this was an anomaly, as the driver we were supposed to have was sick. She assured us this would never happen again, and had she known that the backup driver didn't speak English, she would have requested someone else. Despite the language barrier, our driver was always prompt and reliable. My family went on a number of excursions - the monkey and mangrove tour was my favorite. Just beware that everything is pretty far from the house, and the traffic (at least when we were there between Christmas and New Years) is horrendous!! Took us 4 hours to go about 40 miles one day. In retrospect, I wish we had stayed at the house more, as it was really spectacular. Thank you, Olga, for a wonderful stay!!

Unbelievable Property & Experience!

What an incredible vacation! Pictures do not do this place justice - you have to see to believe! The property was immaculately clean and stayed that way during our 4 nights thanks to the housekeeping staff. The private chefs made two fantastic dinners at reasonable prices. Olga was super responsive and arranged for our driver and some excursions. Would definitely recommend Olga and this house!

Beauty beyond words

One of the most beautiful places in the world! Many in our group have travelled extensively and couldn't say enough about this amazing property and staff! The home was large enough for 14 adults with private space for all. Views from almost everywhere and a pool that takes you to the edge of this amazing location. Everything we needed was there or a text away. Olga was a wonderful host and helped us with all our activities. Highly recommend Tony the private driver and our amazing private chef!

Beyond Amazing & Unforgettable

This was an experience of a lifetime, and I am so grateful that I was able to host a safe and beautiful retreat with Olga, Fabian, Tony and team. It is a lot of work to plan anything in another country, but I have never felt so welcomed with open arms. This house was a home for just us for an amazing 4 days, and I wouldn't recommend any other house than this one. It is completely worth it outside of the breathtaking views and beauty of the house, but also because of the overflowing kindness and love. I look forward to working Olga and team globally. Fantastic Dream Home!

My friends and I stayed at this wonderful dream home to celebrate my 40th birthday. Olga was excellent from the day I booked the property. She was highly responsive and available to answer every question I had no matter what I asked. You can tell that she’s passionate about her properties and making sure our stay was excellent. I was surprised that she still communicated with me on her wedding day which happened to be the same day as my birthday! Transportation was provided to and from SJO airport and were greeted by Tony, our driver who was the BEST!! Our group of 16 rode in a 25 passenger bus. Take advantage of the driver!! We stopped at a grocery store so we could grab water, food and snacks to last our 5 day vacation. When we arrived at Casa Faro, we were happily greeted by the entire house staff. They handed out cold hand towels , sangria and a snack tray of fruit, crackers & cheeses. Our concierge, Fabian, was there to greet us and give a tour of the house, he’s also available 24hrs a day if we ever needed him. The home is luxury, luxury & more luxury!! The views are breathtaking and the infinity pool was our favorite hangout spot. All of the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The home is more beautiful than the photos. Some of the amenities that stood out: Wifi Large bluetooth speaker House phone with free international calls Cell phone to reach concierge 24/7 Movie room (we were able to stream and watch shows Netflix) Massage chair in the movie room Spa room Game room with a bar & pool table Huge hot tub Robes for each guest The house is advertised as an 8 bedroom home but please note that 6 of the rooms are in the house. There are two additional rooms that are most likely for staff but made available for additional guests. On the plus side, those rooms each have a private bathroom. The house was kept cleaned and stocked during our stay. Our private chef, Kenia Salas, is highly recommended. (This was an additional cost) We loved everything she prepared for us, the food was soooo good!! While you are in Costa Rica, I recommend that you try local food from small outdoor restaurants called sodas. You will not be disappointed by the food and service no matter where you go. The house is really close to Jaco if you want to go into “town” to shop, hangout & eat. Overall, our stay was amazing!! My friends constantly raved about the house, food, excursions and service. I organized this trip for my CEO and his business partners. The process, from start to finish, was seamless! Ogla is an amazingly thorough host. She organized their entire five day agenda to include a private driver, chef, restaurant reservations, grocery delivery, surfing, fishing, massages, ATV and ziplining. Not one detail was overlooked. The travelers had nothing but praises for her team and the house! The views are breathtaking and the home is immaculate. The group had all the space that they needed (plus some). We will most definitely book this home (and Olga) again! Thank you so much!

We had nearly 20 people there for a 50th birthday party. The home is gorgeous with a great view of ocean and Macaus flying around in morning. Some things are a little worn like the bathrooms and pool but overall great

Amazing Couples Trip to Casa Faro Azul!!

We recently stayed at Casa Faro Azul for a couples trip. It was nothing short of incredible. The property is kept in pristine condition inside and outside. The views and the surroundings are absolutely stunning. The rooms and house are very spacious and accommodating for large groups like ours. Olga and her staff made the whole process incredibly easy and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived at the airport, everything was arranged perfectly. Olga was available throughout our stay and facilitated activities, transportation, dinner recommendations, personal chefs, and anything else we asked of her. She couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The same was true of all of the staff, including Robert (the driver) and the housekeepers/maintenance staff. We can’t wait to go back!

Heaven on Earth

Incredible property, incredible host

I stayed here with a group of friends and can not complement Olga and her team enough. From the moment I inquired about the property until I was dropped off at the airport for departure, Olga was always available and eager to assist with any and all questions, recommendations and logistic coordination. Additionally, the house was amazing! Beautiful views, spacious living spaces and the POOL! Overall great experience.

The home is even more impressive than the photos on line. The staff is awesome. Olga is the best, always in constant contact to ensure your delight. Robert the drive could not be better. We would recommend this property to anyone that needs a large property in CR, whether it is family, multi family or friends.
