About the host
Hosted by Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle—a teacher, Cape Cod enthusiast, and your host! I’ve always loved the peaceful charm of the Cape, and after years of spending time here, I finally created a cozy little escape in one of my favorite towns: Sandwich. There’s something about the salty air, winding roads, and slower pace that just fills my cup (usually along with a good coffee!).
When I’m not hosting or teaching, you’ll find me enjoying a strong cup of espresso, rearranging furniture for fun (I have a soft spot for interior design), cooking something delicious, or listening to music that sets the vibe just right. I also love meeting new people, which is one of the reasons I enjoy hosting so much—it’s like welcoming friends I haven’t met yet.
Whether you’re here to relax, explore, or create your own Cape Cod traditions, I’m so happy to share this special space with you. Welcome!

Why they chose this property
One of my favorite things about the neighborhood is how peaceful and walkable it is—you really get that small-town Cape Cod feel. In the mornings, I love strolling over to The Snowy Owl Café for a coffee and sitting outside as the town starts to wake up. There’s a breeze off the water, and you can hear the birds and smell the salt in the air. Later in the day, it’s an easy walk to grab a bite at one of the local spots or pop into a few charming shops. And in the evenings, nothing beats heading down to the beach to catch the sunset or walking home from Tree House Brewery under the stars. It’s the kind of neighborhood that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment.
What makes this property unique
There are a lot of rentals on the Cape—but what makes mine special is the balance of location, style, and comfort. I’ve just finished renovating this cozy cottage to reflect the charm of Cape Cod, while adding all the modern touches that make a stay truly easy and enjoyable. You’re just minutes from the beach, amazing local restaurants, and Tree House Brewery—but what guests love most is being able to walk to the Snowy Owl Café for coffee or stroll into town for an ice cream after dinner. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and comfy spaces perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. It’s a peaceful, thoughtfully designed home base in one of the Cape’s most charming towns—and I’d love to share it with you.
