Oceanview condo with 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and AC throughout

Enjoy captivating ocean views from this spacious 3 bedroom, 3-1/2 bath condo, where you can relax with spectacular sunsets on the lanai.

There is air-conditioning throughout the condo, and you can control the temperature in each room individually.

Our condo is on the top level so you won’t be disturbed by neighbors above. On the main floor is the updated kitchen, living/dining room, a half bath/laundry room and oceanview lanai. Also on this floor is a 50inch Smart TV, free WiFi, and Bluetooth speakers.

All three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with showers. On the second floor, the master bedroom has a California King bed and a 40 inch smart TV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third floor has two twins that can be made into a king. All the bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, TVs, and air-conditioning.

The clifftop complex is designed for fun and relaxation with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, & tennis/pickleball court. The barbeque area has 2 grills and the grounds are studded with tropical flowers.

Close to the condo is a wide variety of shopping and dining experiences. Two of our favorites are Kukui'ula Village and Old Koloa Town.

Nearby there are many beaches to explore. Walk east to the world-class Hyatt and Shipwreck Beach, west will take you to Poipu Beach. Snorkel with turtles and parrotfish, ride the waves, or just hang out at a gorgeous beach. Have fun!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying in this condo. Property is well maintained and stocked. It is very close to the nearby two beaches. Great sunset view from the Property grounds. Property owner and the manager were very responsive to our messages. We will definitely return when the next opportunity comes.

This was our second or third time in this unit - we love the Makahuena and this unit ticks all our boxes. AC throughout (just make sure it's off in the morning to truly enjoy coffee on the lanai), everything works, it's clean, wonderful communication, no surprises. We will be back again and again.

Girls trip kauai

Loved this place. Location was perfect Beach's both directions. The pool and hot tub great for relaxing. Comfortable and beautiful the bedrooms really nice. I would stay there again also I would recommend it. We used the lawn chairs several times. Had a really nice time.

Condo with great view

The central location of the condo allowed for easy access to different parts of the island. The three bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and access to the pickle ball court was nice. The pool was refreshing and cleaned daily. We had a lovely stay and would definitely book here again.

Wonderful condo

We loved everything about this property. The location and view from the room is stunning. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The AC was appreciated. The contact with the property manager was great. Highly recommend staying here

Great location and nice property

We really liked to location of this property and it was close to all the great south Kauai beaches and restaurants. The pool area was very nice and it had a great view of the water. It was clean and worked great for our family. I took off a star for the very hot upstairs bedrooms. They did cool down a bit in the middle of the night but were uncomfortably hot when we first went to bed. Air conditioning was available as an option for additional money, but we didn't feel that we wanted to deal with the hassle and cost.

Individual room Fujitsu A/C was fabulous. House was very clean. Beds comfortable. Beautiful cliffside ocean walk from parking lot gate. No beach on site due to oceanside rocks, and pounding waves splashing but a short walk to the boogie board surf or calm sandy beach. On site pool is big and not crowded. On site hot tub is large and hot. Saw 4 big sea turtles on the sand at the beach!! 2 monk seals sunning on the rocks. Snorkelling there was ok, not great. Excellent restaurants within a couple miles, Many good local food shacks and coffee shops. Don't hestitate to rent this little piece of paradise. We will definitely come back some day. Nearby Kauai Back Country tubing through mountains a must see. Jack Harter helicopter trip (open door) sees once in a lifetime beauty (expensive but worth it) Only criticism: kids said WiFi didn't work well on 3rd floor bedroom. This property is A+++++++++++++

Great view, great location, great condo

My family and I stayed her for 11 days. The facility was very nice. It had plenty of room for me, my wife, 2 kids (1 and 3), brother, and a close friend. It was well situated in the Poipu area with beautiful walks in both directions along the coast. The pool and hot tub were very nice and we enjoyed them every day of our visit. The ocean was a lot fiercer than I had expected, I don’t know if the water is always this rough or if it was due to a storm (a local said it was storm related). With our 2 young kids we felt a little limited to where we could take them. Poipu beach was pretty good for the kids due to its shallow area, but maybe a little too shallow for the adults (about ½ to 1 ½ foot deep in the sandy section). The snorkeling area had many fish, but was a little too shallow for my liking as well as I kept crashing into the bottom (something I try to avoid). We spent most of our beach time at Lydgate Beach north of Lihue (about a 30 min drive). Poipu was a great base location to go to Port Allen (where the south shore boat tours leave from), Waimea Canyon, and the Lihue area. It was a little far for the northern parts of the island. Ke’e beach (end of the road on the north shore was nearly 2 hours away and it was beautiful and was very swimmable even in the winter time (we didn’t expect it to be swimmable so we didn’t bring swimwear or snorkel gear –big regret) and had a great sunset. My biggest complaint about the rental was that I selected this unit because they list air conditioning in the amenities, but in reality it only has it on one floor (main floor without bedrooms) and there is an additional fee to use it. This was not explained to us until we were sent our arrival information well after we booked our stay. I had even filtered my search for air conditioning. I am the type of guy that sweats like mad when it is 75 degrees outside so this wasn’t ideal and cooking in the unit was extremely uncomfortable. Overall sleeping wasn’t too bad due to the trade winds, but being in the unit during the day at all was unpleasant (a good motivator to get you out of the house). Overall though our experience was great. Evelyn, the property manager, was very accommodating. On our last day on the island we had a late flight, she couldn’t arrange a late check-out due to my late notice to her, but she did allow us to come back and shower—which was a great help.

Fabulous!

Great location and beautiful property. Family of 5 adults with one toddler had lots of room and loved the pool. Property management also called to ensure we had received the Tsunami warning! The sense of community that we experienced in Koala with hundreds of other evacuees was true Hawaiian spirit! Though we have been Maui visitors for years we all fell in love with Kauai!

Best property of our 3 island visit!

Amazing community of condos. This one had ample air conditioning. Itvis on 3 levels. The lani has beautiful ocean views an pool views. The property around the cindo is amazing with views and its owe blow hole. The pool was great. Parking on site was close to the unit but not too close. Having laundry on site was perfect. Three andcahalf baths for family groups was great. Kitchen was well stocked. We stayed 7 days at this location amd loved every minute!!!

Great property

This was a great property for our family to vacation in. The listing matched the amenities of the property 100%. It provided everything we needed for our stay. Check in and check out or easy. Communications with the property manager was a dream. My only comment is in regard to the crib. The crib is really not a crib. It is a portable playpen. The mattress is much too stiff for a comfortable nights sleep for a baby. Fortunately, our little one was comfortable snuggling in with mom and dad for the night.

Perfect for us

The condo was ideal for our family. Clean, fully stocked, and comfortable beds. Conveniently located between Poipu and Shipwreck Beach, it served as a great home base. The view from the lanai was stunning, with a rainbow greeting us on our first morning along with beautiful birds. Our kids loved ending the day with a dip in the pool and hot tub, and we even enjoyed a pickleball game when not exploring the island. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver for packing light! The only downside was the limited seating in the living room, which made it difficult for our family to unwind together. However, the bedrooms had TVs, which helped. Liz and the property managers were very responsive and helpful!

Best Sunset views!

This location works great for our family. We have four kids ages 7 to 12. Having the pool right below us was a must for those early morning or evening swims. That is before or after we went out hiking or hitting the beach. And speaking of beaches, both shipwreck and Poipu Beach, where an easy walk or a short drive away. The AC was a real nice touch in the evenings when the sun was blasting in and made for comfortable sleeps.

View is amazing

The online photo of the view from the balcony does not do it justice. It has an amazing 160 degrees view of the ocean and great location with a walking trail going to the east and a 10min walk to Poipu Beach to the west. Overall the condo was nice to stay at and A/C worked great. The grounds and pool were well kept and it was quiet. The only thing that would have been better to know about in advance was to see a picture of the loft bathroom because it was too tiny of a sink to use for an adult and the loft was not as clean as the rest of the condo was.

Great stay

We are a family of 6 staying for 4 days 3 nights. This is very convenient location — can see the sunrise and sunset from this property . We used the swimming pool and jacuzzi after long hikes . There are cooking ware . There are a lot of restaurants but the wait time was xtra long . We made breakfast every day. Great savings The air conditioning made it worthwhile . The entire stay was lovely and would recommend this unit .

Lovely property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Having the bedrooms on separate floors from the living room is a nice feature. The beds were comfortable, and having a half-bath on the main floor was a plus! There are no elevators in this building, and all three bedrooms are upstairs, so be prepared for that. The walking path behind the building offers lovely views. The pool never got too busy, and the hot tub felt great. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We would definitely stay in this property again. Thanks for offering this property in the rental pool!

Cozy condo in Poipu

Our third time in Kauai. Great condo in Poipu that easily accommodated our family of 5 (12 year old, 2 teenagers, myself and my wife). Location was perfect for accessing Poipu Beach, Breakneck Beach, Shipwreck Beach, and all the restaurants in Koloa. Seems relatively recently upgraded on the inside (overall building is older, but decent). Kitchen was well stocked and there were chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and some beach toys in the closet. Plenty of linens, beach towels, kitchen towels, and bathroom towels. Very quiet property with well-insulated walls. We slept very comfortably! Views from the patio are gorgeous! Property management was excellent, with clear and friendly communication throughout the stay. We even misplaced a key (long story - we retrieved it) and the property manager guided us to locate a spare to enter the property. Only very minor gripe - when AC is on throughout the property the fan blows hot air onto the balcony patio making it hard to sit there. This was a problem for all the other condos in the building besides ours and wasn’t an issue throughout the stay, especially on the cooler days when we weren’t running AC. Overall, would highly recommend this condo and this location!
