Five stars is easy when everything is perfect. Five stars is impressive when there's trouble. There were some technical problems when we arrived but the host was able to resolve the for us. We had a lovely stay. So, if you want gorgeous views and a lovely cottage and the assurance of a helpfuln host, then look no farther!

Pros: Impressive cabin with great views, brand new hot tub, comfortable bed, nice fireplace, peaceful location. The cabin stayed surprisingly warm for such low temps in early December.Cons: Bathroom is a detached bathhouse up a fairly steep hill from cabin. Bathhouse stayed under 50 the entire time. We were not notified of water shut off to cabin and were given jugs of water to wash dishes. We ended up washing dishes in outdoor kitchen sink. No offer to discount our stay for the inconvenience. Be aware there's no WiFi and parking is up by the bathhouse. All in all it was a lovely visit, but if we had known ahead of time that the bathroom wasn't attached and there'd be no running water inside the cabin I'm sure we would've passed on it for what we paid. Ideally, it's a property for above freezing temps. Still, we were glad to have the experience of such a unique property with huge windows, perfect for stargazing and picturesque sunrises.
