Horrible the place smelled good and appeared to be clean. The were spider webs everywhere, no HOT water, lack of communication. It was very unrofessional of the host to learn that her guest was stranded outside and refused to call me back. The host sent a kid to let us in half of my group left and. Returned home, a few more went to a hotel. This really was a waste of money we still did not have hot water even when somebody came talking to me thru the kitchen door (scary) asking if the hot water was working the next day before we had to clean and leave at that point in time it was only 2 of us there just to grab our belonging and made sure we picked up our mess. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I asked for some kind of refund she denied and still would not have a conversation with me only wanted to talk thru chat. The host could have been professional and talked to me instead she/he begged me to not write a bad review to stay on Sunday. My entire party had returned home why would we want to stay no HOT water still and after we were left outside for hours in the middle of the night in the streets of Detroit no thank you. An adult conversation should have been had not with a kid that let us in 2-3 o’clock in the morning. We should have had HOT water when we got there, the A/C should have been on that morning or the day before. As a HOST when you have guest staying at your place anything could happen you should be available for emergencies no when Vrbo call.
