Steve and Wendy were great and everything was lovely and thoughtful down to the last detail. Place was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The kids loved the lake so much (and so did we!). Perfect place for a family to stay and enjoy the nature!

Perfect location!
We couldn’t ask for a better place, WIFI was a big plus. This condo has everything you need. Steve and Wendy were very accommodating! Thank you !
We hope to be back soon.
We really enjoyed staying there, and would recommend it
Thanks to Steve and Wendy, the property was completely ready when we arrived (including toys for kids). The condo is large enough for 2 adults and 2 years old kid. The location is great - the Stimson Lake private beach is just across the road. The lake is beautiful. The neighbors are friendly. We also visited the Fox Park playground in Plymouth, and the Livermore Falls in Holderness (might be good for kids).
The fireworks on July 3rd and 4th were very impressive (from 9 to 11 PM :)
We'd definitely recommend Steve's and Wendy's property for vacation.

A Lakeside Gem!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation in this comfortable and roomy condo. The owners ensured a very clean home with everything provided including linens, kitchen cupboard staples, grill, W/D, beach towels and bikes & kayaks for outdoor fun. The beach and swimming area is very nice where we met friendly neighbors who were so helpful. It was an awesome two weeks, and big thanks to Steve & Wendy for their caring and welcoming ways in all interactions. They're the best!

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. The owners were so helpful and had stocked everything we needed. The condo was clean and spacious enough for our family and had a nice patio where we grilled out every night. In the back of the condo there is a lovely green space that our children had a great time playing in. The lake itself is a short and pretty walk down a path across the street. A little steep, but very manageable even for our small children and visiting elderly mother in law. The lake and beach area were beautiful and it was great to have access to kayaks. One great surprise was the fire pit at the beach. So fun to roast marshmallows with the kids lakeside. All in all a great property, especially for the price!

Very nice vacation home!
This rental was wonderful in many ways. The owners were so kind and accommodating, very easy to deal with, and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, washer and dryer were excellent to have, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, having two bathrooms was great, a tennis court literally outside the front door, bikes for our use, and the lake within view. Having kayaks to use and an excellent dock to jump from were the highlights for us. I would just say that the walk to the lake is a little bit of a hike if you are traveling with anyone who can't go up a bit of a hill. For us, this was not a negative; we considered it part of our daily workout because we did it several times a day, but for those who aren't as mobile, it would be good to know this. Oh, and other residents of the association who were around were ALL friendly and helpful. It was a very great time. Thanks, Wendy and Steve!

About the host
Hosted by Steve & Wendy
Raised in the country and living in some of the biggest cities across the US, we always found our way back to the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire. We love music, mountains, friends and farming.
Why they chose this property
My wife and I had been vacationing at Stinson Lake since the late 1980s and when an opportunity came up to buy a second home here, we jumped at the chance. There is truly something very unique about this location. This is one of the cleanest lakes in New Hampshire and the mountain air just makes for a surrealistic atmosphere. Leaving the lake is always the hardest part
What makes this property unique
This area uniquely borders the famous White Mountains for the best hiking in New Hampshire, Rumney Rocks known for climbing throughout the country, Away from it all, yet welcoming top notch restaurants, music, theatre and shopping is less than 30 minutes away.
