We booked this place for a two-night golf trip with friends and it worked out really well. Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds, and the layout meant nobody was tripping over each other. Spring Lake was a great home base — quiet, close to the beach, and easy to get in and out of. The pool was a nice bonus for winding down at the end of the day. Communication with the host was really smooth and check-in was easy. Would happily stay here again on the next trip.

Well designed living area. Property was small. Discovered son was living in pool house which was only 10 feet from pool with a large picture window. Original rental indicated the pool house was included. It was not very private since he had to go through property to get to pool house. This is a duplex with only a bathroom separating units. Bathroom was unlocked when we arrived and someone had just taken a shower there. It was later locked. All in all, not very private.

Hi Wayne, Thank you for your feedback, but this review does not reflect the reality of your stay. First, our listing clearly states this is a two-unit rental property. You chose to only rent the main house and declined to rent the pool house unit. Trying to enter the pool house after being explicitly told it was not included in your rental is a violation of our boundaries. Your party also ignored clear "DO NOT ENTER" signs and a physical barrier like a huge “chair”to snoop inside our private laundry room. Regarding the person you saw, that was my son. He does not live on the property. He briefly accessed the side yard to make necessary property adjustments. No one else was living or staying on the premises during your trip. The pool house is not 10 feet away, that’s another lie, that’s not even possible due to permits. Pool house is at least 100 feet away. You and your children enjoyed full use of the pool and BBQ for four nights without a single complaint. If you were truly unhappy, you were free to leave and receive a full refund. Waiting 15 days to post an inaccurate review is disappointing. We take the privacy and safety of our property seriously.
