Located 35 miles from downtown Chicago with close access to the highway without the noise. This 4 bedroom 2.5 bath with a loft is perfect for family gatherings, groups, and business travelers. Downtown Chicago is just a 30 minute drive from here with access to highway 394 with little traffic. The neighborhood has a beautiful sidewalk system with a playground just 2 blocks away. There are also several shops and gas stations within walking distance and several new businesses are being built. It's a great place for families and anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.

The kitchen is fully loaded with all the cookware needed for baking and grilling. There is a standup mixer, a blender, a juicer and all the bar tools needed to make delicious cocktails, smoothies and so much more. There are extra chairs and a large table in the kitchen closet for seating outside.

The garage, pantry, office, basement and master bedroom closet are restricted areas that are off limits. We have ring cameras in these areas; however they are completely closed off and locked. If for any reason there is a problem in relation to these areas, please call us and we will address the issue immediately.

In the upstairs area you'll open the french doors to find the master bedroom with a king bed, flatscreen tv, and a deluxe master bathroom with a standup shower, 2 sinks and a very large soaker tub. Down the hall you will find a children's room with a crib and twin bed. There are some toys in the closet as well as a queen size air mattress. The next room has a queen size bed with a nice ottoman with extra blankets at the end of the bed. The last bedroom has a full-size bed and there are extra pillows in the closet. There is a laundry room with a washer, dryer, 2 baskets, iron with board, and a hanging rack. The main upstairs bathroom has 2 sinks and a shower/tub combo. The loft is at the top of the stairs with a great view of the front yard and street and the couch is very cozy with electric reclining and lumbar support.

At the bottom of the stairs there is a half bathroom directly in front of the stairs. The main floor has a spacious open concept combining the kitchen, dining room and living areas. The living room has a gas fireplace that turns on with the flip of a switch. There is a bar with all the glasses needed for cocktails, wine and shots. The dining room seats 8 comfortably, 10 if you want to squeeze 2 more in. The island has 2 seats which will be getting upgraded soon. The island is a wonderful place to prepare meals.

The house has a driveway big enough for up to 4 vehicles depending on the size. Uber is available throughout the entire area if needed. There is also a train that runs from Hammond, IN to downtown Chicago and it also goes to the Indiana Dunes, Michigan City and Beverly Shores. There are a lot of fun places to go and things to see around here and transportation is very much available in this area.

No pets, smoking, or parties. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 6am. No commercial photography or filming. Maximum 10 guests. Check in time is at 3pm, however if the property has been cleaned and is prepared for check in prior to 3pm, we can make an exception. Simply contact us and we will let you know if it is ready. Check out time is at 12pm.
