Our stay at this property was a very disappointing experience, mainly because the house did not match what was shown or represented in the VRBO listing. We booked this property based on the pictures, description, sleeping arrangements, and the expectation that it would comfortably accommodate our group of six adults. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the actual condition and layout of the house were very different from what we expected.One of our biggest concerns was the bathroom situation. For six people, there was basically only one proper bathroom that provided reasonable privacy. The other bathroom did not have a proper door and was open toward the bedroom area. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially when multiple adults are staying together. A bathroom should provide basic privacy, and this setup should have been very clearly shown and explained in the listing before anyone books the property.If we had known in advance that one of the bathrooms did not have a proper door, we would not have selected this house. The listing gave us a completely different impression. When six adults are sharing a property, bathroom privacy and accessibility are very important. Having six people depend on one proper bathroom made our stay inconvenient and uncomfortable.Another major issue was the sleeping arrangement. The bunk beds were not clearly represented in the pictures we saw when making the reservation. We were surprised to find bunk beds as part of the sleep

The property looks exactly like the listing I cant imagine someone booking a house with a master suite and not being comfortable enough to use the bathroom with them in the same room.

We were very disappointed with this property, but our biggest concern was safety.The listing advertises accommodations for eight guests, but that appears unrealistic. The host expects two adults to share each twin bunk bed, which is not a reasonable sleeping arrangement for most groups.The most concerning issue was the bunk room itself. It has no window or other means of emergency egress, which made us very uncomfortable from a fire safety standpoint. Even more alarming, there were no smoke detectors anywhere in the property when we arrived. Traveling with older parents, this was unacceptable and made us question whether the property should be offered as a short-term rental in its current condition.Beyond the safety concerns, the home was clearly in need of maintenance. The grill was broken, preventing us from enjoying the cookout we had planned, and the outdoor table was missing its glass top. We also arrived to find there were no bath towels. The owner did bring brand-new towels about three hours later, but by then the inconvenience had already affected our stay.Overall, this property did not match the listing or our expectations. The maintenance issues were frustrating, but the lack of basic fire safety measures and the unsafe sleeping arrangement were the biggest concerns. We hope these issues are addressed before future guests stay here.
