Charming Guest House – 1BR + Sleeping Nook, Full Kitchen, Gazebo, & Boat Parking
Welcome to your peaceful getaway nestled in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas!
This cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath guest house features a bonus sleeping nook with full sized daybed, full kitchen, and everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Private bedroom with a comfy queen bed
Cozy sleeping nook with a full sized day bed – perfect for children or an extra guest
Full Kitchen:
Fully stocked with a stove, oven, full-size fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee bar, and all the cookware needed for home-cooked meals.
Laundry:
In-unit washer and dryer – perfect for longer stays or lake adventures.
Workspace:
Dedicated sit/stand desk and reliable Wi-Fi for remote work or planning your day trips. Workspace includes monitor, webcam, docking station, speaker phone, keyboard and mouse.
Outdoor Perks:
Relax under the beautiful gazebo and enjoy serene views of the towering pines
Just 30 minutes to Lake O’ the Pines and Caddo Lake State Park – perfect for boating, fishing, hiking, or kayaking
Room to park your boat (with advance notice)
Within 10 Min of I20, and within 20 min of Downtown Marshall where you can enjoy a great brewery, as well as other restaurants and shops. If you are coming at the holidays you'll see how our little town looks just like a Hallmark Card with it's Wonderland of Lights
Peaceful & Private:
You’ll feel tucked away and secluded in nature, and will most likely get to enjoy deer, birds, and other nature such as a fox every once in a while. You will feel like you are in the country even though the guest house is located in a quiet neighborhood. (We do kindly ask for no loud parties to respect our neighbors.)
Please Note: We (the owners) live in the main house next door. You’ll have your own private space, but we’re nearby if you need anything during your stay. We do our best to keep things peaceful and respect your privacy, but please understand that from time to time you may hear normal household activity—like dogs barking or occasional yard work. We appreciate your understanding and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Guest access
Guests have access to 2 parking spaces. (We are on 2.5 acres so if we have advance notice that you need room for a boat, just let us know so we can accommodate).
Guests will also have access to a large wrap around deck with two seating areas. there is a propane fire pit under the gazebo, and there is also a wood burning fire pit in the yard that can be used.
