Wonderful property, quiet and in a great location close to town. Right next to the smokehouse with great food. Definitely will be returning for our stays in Marshall.
Our stay was wonderful! The location provided beautiful views and convenience to Marshall, Harelton, and Longview. The space was clean, cozy, and spacious! We enjoyed our stay!
Absolutely wonderful, clean and comfortable. Such a darling little cottage on a beautiful piece of property next to Bear Creek Smokehouse. No detail left undone to make this one of the best properties we have visited. Enjoyed our two night stay very much.
Beautiful cottage in a quiet and relaxing setting! Spacious accommodations for a family of 6. Be sure to bring your own soaps & shampoos, but everything else is provided for a wonderful stay!
One of the nicer VRBOs that we've stayed at when visiting our ETBU student. Needed a little attention to cleaning baseboards and behind doors. Coffee machine is a Keurig and K cups were provided. Comfortable and plenty living room seating a dining seating. spacious rooms and master bath. Thank you for hosting.
Property was well maintain & very nice. Upon arrival, we had issues with AC not working property & I had to purchase fans to cool the house down. However, it began working. The driveway needs some work. But overall, the place was great and we enjoyed staying there. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.
Cutest and best house ever, perfect for our fam and friends to enjoy the evening after my sons wedding @ ETBU, the MERC, and with Bear Creek too!!!!! THANKS to Krysta and Mike (catering/food) and everyone who made it the BEST weekend!!! Very grateful!!!!
Very convenient to Jefferson, Marshall and Carthage. Really enjoyed the back porch sitting with my cup of coffee and chatting with friends. The Bear Creek BBQ restaurant was really good and everyone there was so very friendly!
It was a great house. A little Wi-Fi issue upon check in that was resolved the next day. We were so close to ETBU campus! We grilled one night and also enjoyed local eateries! The SPOT is an excellent breakfast place right down the road!
The place was amzazing and completely as described. Only had trouble with the internet. We could get on the WiFi but was getting the error message the whole time of no internet that a few of us needed for work. Other than that we would for stay here again.
My family gathered for my 60th birthday and came from New Orleans. The back porch was perfect for gathering and the house was so spacious. The beds and bedding were so nice. The acorns on the tin roof was a little frightening at times but country living at its best! Beautiful surroundings! We love the Shultz family and Bearcreek never disappoints!
Nice, peaceful place for a getaway. We stayed here because we were getting married at Enoch’s Stomp and it was a nice, roomy place near both Bear Creek & Enoch’s!
.Despite the cloudy and rainy last two days, the weather was perfect for our stay. The owners couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating, bringing us a new Keurig coffee maker within an hour of mentioning the fact that we didn’t have coffee for breakfast. They also sent a maintenance person to tighten the toilet seats while we were gone! Couldn’t have been a better experience! Would have liked to use the porch a little more, but it was the beginning of the summer and they still had not pressure washed the back porch area, where there was a little mold and mildew present. Also, This is just the area for ants, and there were many around the back porch. Perhaps they will spray them and clean the furniture and decking off now the summer has arrived. I would definitely definitely stay here again.
My daughter and son-in-law live in the area and we needed some extra space for out-of-town family. This location was perfect. The property was beautiful, and it was just what we needed for a long weekend! Thanks to the Shoults family for a comfortable retreat!
