This house is very nice and I could stay there easily for a month.The house appears like it was completely remodeled and has furniture and appliances that are like new. It was clean and as advertised.I will definitely stay there again.

This was a great space for us to stay at! We attended a wedding reception right down the road at Ivey Acres. This cottage is about 15 minutes away from Marshall and 25 minutes away from Jefferson.

The Host was very welcoming! Amenities were nice, all the furniture was very low but functional the ac unit made a very loud noise when the heat was on. Overall great stay!!

The house was very cozy with comfortable furnishings including the beds. We enjoyed our stay for a girls' weekend away! The drive needs work to even out and fill potholes and lights are very needed at the drive entry as it's extremely difficult to see the turn-in from the road.

The property did blend into the community and gave a great countryside feel. The interior is exceptionally decorated and comfortable. BearCreek store is minutes from the cottage and a great visit. The cottage did seem associated with the store but there were no welcome samples or discounts to the store to announce affiliation. My visit was to enjoy the local fireworks but the exterior windows had that lovely tree green limiting the view. Which is a shame because the view of the country side is lovely. I loved the back porch. I would encourage a look book of local animals for visitors to reference while enjoying the view. It would adding to the book the names of some of the longhorns along with their picture. There is an ant issue in the kitchen. I was able to contain it and I did inform the cottage cleaning staff. Hopefully, it can be remedied. Overall, I had a lovely time.

Lovely Stay!

Absolutely wonderful, clean and comfortable. Such a darling little cottage on a beautiful piece of property next to Bear Creek Smokehouse. No detail left undone to make this one of the best properties we have visited. Enjoyed our two night stay very much.

Very Cute Cottage

Nice, peaceful place for a getaway. We stayed here because we were getting married at Enoch’s Stomp and it was a nice, roomy place near both Bear Creek & Enoch’s!
