We enjoyed our stay during our family reunion. The property was exactly as described and met our needs. Love the lake access. We would stay here again.
The house was cozy and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. We had a great time on floaties on the lake, and grilling out later.

Beautiful place
Awesome place, the deer in the morning and evening was fun to watch. Quiet and short walk to the lake. House had alot of room for everyone. Enjoyed it and next time I come back to east texas would stay there again.
The property was GREAT! Seeing the deer walk through the property was AWESOME! We really enjoyed the property! The location is perfect! Far enough away from Longview but close enough to get to where we needed to be without much trouble! We WILL stay there again.
We rented all three of the related properties to host a wedding party. The small chapel was about thirty minutes away but everyone loved the “get away” vibe of the location. Several folks fished, enjoyed the water, and watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great options for everyone!!
If you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting the Lake of the Pines, then look no further. The house was nestled in among the pines, which are everywhere, the house was clean, fresh, it was very nice, well stocked with the normal every day items. The internet worked well, the airconditioning was great. The hill was a bit steep, but certainly not a hazard, and once on the property there were plenty of places to park. I had brought my boat and was able t back it up under a garage size area on concrete, with a roof, and electric for charging the boat. I spoke once with our host, and she was very kind. Good job! We look forward to coming back.

Perfect property for Thanksgiving reunion
The property was better than the listing which is very rare in real estate! Its a very cozy property with many spots to sit, relax and talk with family. We REALLY enjoyed the fire pit outside with comfy chairs just a short walk out the back door. It overlooks a beautiful view of the Lake and there was plenty of wildlife: deer, racoons, birds to name a few. The beds were very comfy and Im pretty picky! The bathrooms were very nicely accommodated with plenty of white towels, wash cloths and hand towels.
Thank you Rene for providing a wonderful property for my family to reunite, visit and make a beautiful memory!
The cabin was cozy and neat. Outside was nice. Just a little too far from the Lake. My husband & I were anticipating fishing but the walk to the lake was challenging. It would have been great if we had an access to a golf cart or side by side. The back porch was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the wildlife especially the deer. Weather was in the 100’s not conducive to lots of porch time. The fall and spring would be ideal.
Great stay at a great house. It was very clean and spacious. Communication with the property manager was fast and felt that they really care about us and do what they can to help. Would definitely stay here again!!
We had such a great time! The house was just what we were hoping it to be. The house was extremely clean and fresh. We hope to come back soon☺️ The only suggestion we could have is maybe have a bigger coffee maker.
Sincerely,
The YaYa’s
3 bdr, 2 bath, nice sized house with a large communal room. The master has large windows around the room. It has a washer, dryer & an ironing board! ONE NOTE: the coffee pot is a small 4 cup drip style. If there are more than two coffee lovers, it won't be enough. Jefferson is about 11 miles from the house. It is NOT handicapped accessible.
The property is located right on the lake. Although the property is of age, it is very nicely remodeled. The property is not as cleaned as we had hoped considering how much they charge for the cleaning fee. Top of the refrigerator and ceiling fan in the kitchen was very dusty. The hall bedroom mini-blind was dusty as well. Hot water in the master shower was hit and miss and the water often leaked out of the bathtub. There was only enough trash bags and dishwasher detergent for three days even though we had booked for five nights. The host explained to us they were only provided as a courtesy :(. The checkout process stated we need to wash the dishes and put them back where they were found. We've stayed in this type of property many times in the past and have always been asked to put the dishwasher and start the wash before leaving. Isn't that part of the cleaning crew's responsibility to put them away? How do we know if the dishes in the cabinet are cleaned? Anyway, we still enjoyed our stay in this cozy little house.
It was just what we were looking for there was plenty of room and a very spacious backyard. Quick response from the owners when we had any questions. Definitely will rent again.
This was just what the Dr. Ordered. Peaceful and shady location. We had two white tail deer greet us when we arrived and played in the yard all afternoon. We didn't want to leave.
