Stone villa with pool, view and privacy in South Luberon close to best villages

Newly renovated stone barn in a beautiful, peaceful, and completely private 1.3-hectare setting framed by vineyards and the Luberon mountains.

The new large open-plan kitchen is a real feature. It has a charming Provencal feel with a Lacanche cooking range and is very well equipped.
All four bedrooms have an unobstructed view over lavender and vineyards of the Chateau d’Ansouis. All the bathrooms are new, three are fully en-suite, and the fourth bedroom has its own small bathroom too.
The house is fully air-conditioned, making it cool and comfortable in the summer and warm and cosy in the winter.

The outdoor areas on the property provide great opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment.
Relax in the loungers at the swimming pool and enjoy the privacy, the view, and the famous light of Provence. Under the trees near the pool there is a shady area perfect for lunch or dinner. The fairy lights at night make this an especially atmospheric setting.

The boule court is a wonderful setting for drinks and games, or a meal at any time, perfect for a quiet breakfast under the trees.
The terrace also offers a dining table and a comfortable covered seating area.

There is an enchanting small natural oak forest and a small orchard with cherry and olive trees.
Lavender, rosemary, and the elegant Cyprus punctuate the landscape as does a beautiful old well.
The house is the perfect place to return to after a day's sightseeing of the beautiful villages, or from a morning's shopping at the markets.
Book in advance at some of the fabulous restaurants on your doorstep, including La Petite Maison de Cucuron, and La Closerie in Ansouis; both have a one-star Michelin rating.
The surrounding areas are truly beautiful Provencal landscapes, making this a perfect place for cycling or walking/jogging.
There are some of the most renowned Provencal villages nearby: Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Ansouis, Cucuron. A little further afield and there are more; Grambois, Goult, Lacoste, to mention a few.
And it’s 30 minutes to Aix en Provence, 50 minutes to Marseille.

Formidable

A beautiful house at a perfect location. We spend 2 weeks in juni 2022, we received a warm welcome from Farida, who is available for any questions. The house is beautiful decorated and well equipped, the garden with the swimmingpool offers several seating areas in the sun or shade with lots of flowers. For us it is the ideal place to spend our holliday!

Grossartiges Haus - herrliche Lage

Wir sind hell begeistert von dieser herrlichen Liegenschaft. Grosszügiges Ambiente: Zufahrt durch den kleinen Privatwald, schöne Gartenanlage, perfekter und sauberer Pool und ein super Pétanque-Platz. Das Haus hat grosse und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und Badezimmer mit dezenter Farbgebung der Textilien und Einrichtungsgegenständen aus qualitativ hochwertigen Materialen. Die Küche ist grandios und komplett ausgestattet - es fehlt an nichts. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und Klimaregulierung und Heizung sind perfekt. Die Lage ist sehr privat, schöne Aussicht und die Ruhe wäre herrlich, aber es gibt leider einen einzigen Negativpunkt: im übernächsten Nachbarhaus bellen viele Hunde täglich sehr oft aufgeregt und der Besitzer schreit sie immer wieder laut an - sehr schade. Die Kontakte mit der Gastgeberin Caroline waren sehr positiv und Farida hat sich sehr sympathisch um uns und das Haus gekümmert - vielen Dank. Marianne und Hans-Peter

We have had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful home situated in the middle of olive groves & vineyards and near some of the most magical villages of the Luberon. Everything was perfect in the house and both the owner & her property manager were available for any questions we had. A very special home in a special part of the world.

Parfaite maison de vacances dans le sud Lubéron !

Une très jolie propriété parfaitement fidèle à l’annonce. Le cadre est enchanteur, calme, superbe lumière en fin de journée. Des espaces extérieurs très bien pensés, (beaucoup de transats confortables autour de la piscine, coin déjeuner, en petit comité, sous les mûriers, belle table sur la terrasse pour les diners, salon de jardin bien protégé qui nous a permis de rester dehors pendant les quelques moments de pluie et l’indispensable boulodrome !). Les chambres sont agréables avec (presque) chacune leur salle de bain/douche. Mention spéciale à l’accueil parfait de Farida, toujours souriante, disponible et efficace pour répondre à nos petites questions.

La maison idéale

La maison idéale pour des retrouvailles familiales. Parfaitement agencée et équipée ( vaisselle de qualité , linge de maison irréprochable). Les matelas sont très confortables. La propreté est parfaite. Nous remercions Farida pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Les extérieurs sont ravissants. Caroline, la propriétaire, est particulièrement à l’écoute et se soucie du bien-être de ses hôtes. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Nous avons apprécié nos vacances dans le Luberon.

La maison est très bien située pour de nombreuses excursions dans la région et la piscine est parfaite pour se rafraîchir. La proximité de Cucuron avec les cafés et le marché autour du Bassin de l'Etang était magnifique. La propriétaire, Caroline, est très serviable et sympathique.

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In dem geschmackvoll renovierten und eingerichteten Haus fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Gut eingerichtete Küche, sehr bequeme Betten, tolle Aussicht von der Terrasse aus. Bis Cucuron sind es 2,5 km, dort gibt es gute Restaurants, einen super Bäcker und Metzger.

Une belle maison et une parfaite localisation

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine entre amis (5 adultes) dans cette belle maison spacieuse, décorée et meublée avec beaucoup de goût. Le temps un peu frais de ce début d’octobre ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine, dont l’eau était bien fraîche. Mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié la belle terrasse et le très joli jardin entouré d’oliviers et d’un bosquet d’arbres. On y jouit d’une vue privilégiée sur le village d’Ansouis qui se dessine dans le lointain. Le lieu est parfaitement paisible. Nous avons été fort bien accueillis par Christel, qui prend soin de la maison et a été l’écoute de nos petits problèmes. Caroline, la propriétaire, nous avait auparavant donné toutes les informations et précisions que nous pouvions souhaiter. Elle nous avait notamment averti que les sanitaires avaient un peu vécu et réclamaient une remise à niveau. Tout en étant tout à fait convenables, ils méritent effectivement un rafraîchissement. Nous ne doutons pas que cela sera fait prochainement. La localisation de la propriété est excellente : blottie au milieu des champs et des vignes, mais en même temps à proximité du ravissant village de Cucuron aussi bien que d’Ansouis et son beau château. Lourmarin est à quelques minutes en voiture. La situation est idéale tant pour visiter le versant sud du Luberon et pousser jusqu’à Aix en Provence, que pour remonter vers le nord, où un chapelet de beaux villages perchés, comme Lacoste, Mesnerbes, Oppède-le-vieux, et bien d’autres s’offrent à la visite. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Merci beaucoup, j'espere pouvoir vous accueillir a la maison une prochaine fois. C'est vrai que l'endroit est tres paisible, avec la terasse, le jardin, et la vue sur le Chateau d'Ansouis. Nous sommes d'accord que la localisation est excellente avec tant de beaux villages dans les alentours.

Ein kleines Paradies zum Erholen

Ein perfekt ausgestattetes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit viel Platz in und ums Haus herum. Sitzplätze für jede Tageszeit, ob sonnig oder schattig. Traumhafter Blick in die Weinberge und auf das Schloss von Ansouis. Rundherum hübsche Dörfer, die - zumindest im September - noch nicht von Touristen überlaufen sind, mit Märkten, die jeden Liebhaber der provenzalischen Küche begeistern.

Well equipped and charming villa in lovely surroundings.

A charming villa set within spacious grounds and well situated in easy reach of Ansouis and Cucuron. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of good eating areas. We were relieved to have air conditioning in bedroom on first floor as weather was very hot. Great to be able to use bikes!
