The house had everything that a large family group would need. Plenty of stuff for the beach and lots of toys for the garden. The host responded quickly to our requests and we had a great time. It’s close to the beach and there a couple of good restaurants nearby.

Lovely weekend in a spacious house

Functional house with 6 good size bedrooms and super comfortable beds. Kitchen with loads of cooking equipment which was great for a large group. I have to admit I didn't like the gas oven, but apart from that the kitchen was great. Sitting and dining areas were on the small side for 12 adults, and the outside dining area wasn't as in the photos (picnic benches rather than nice table and chairs). Having said that we had a lovely weekend (despite mixed weather) and Polly was helpful in all the communication. thank you

Warm and Freindly

Arrived to be met by Polly who was very proud of her house and rightly so, all as described dog friendly, clean, nice area and close to the beach. We have two Labradors who if could speak found it just like home from home. It was the little touches that made this place for instance the kitchen fully stocked with all that one would want for a dinner party and all the bathrooms having soap, toilet paper and shower gell plus endless supplies of tea and coffee filters. The week we chose was very cold but the house was lovely and warm Polly even explained how to turn up the boiler and told us not to worry as she also supplied lots of wood for the lovely open fire. This was truly a pleasant experience from some of the other houses we have stayed in. I would highly recommend this house dog and child friendly and also the Internet worked perfectly, well done.

Lovely people and really beautiful dogs. Our cleaner said that they were very good dogs and left no extra cleaning to do! Very pleased you had a comfortable stay and hope to see you again soon.

Lucky us!

My wife and I spent four wonderful days at Maison Mielles. It was exactly as advertised and that was a good thing. Despite being contacted by us at short notice Polly (the owner) was accommodating and really pleasant to deal with. The house has been recently renovated and the renovations were well done and made good sense. If you were coming with a large group and/or kids it would be perfect. Because there were just the two of us we didn't need the upstairs but we did have a look and could imagine being very comfortable here with our kids and grandkids. We didn't take advantage of the beach because we were too busy exploring the many surrounding sites. It was less than an hour's drive to Mont St. Michel and just over an hour to Omaha Beach with plenty to see on the way to both. If we had been here longer we would have loved to spend time exploring the fascinating salt marshes with their blue-bottomed (painted) sheep. I have no hesitation in recommending Maison Mielles. We would return.

James and Tracey were our first Canadian guests and were lovely to have and left the house very clean and tidy - I can thoroughly recommend them as guests! We'd certainly be very happy to have them back any time.

Nous avons apprécié ce logement, très bien équipé... il ne manquait rien !!!La literie est très bonne, les chambres sont spacieusesLa proximite de la plage est un atoutPetit bémol, les photos de la terrasse exterieure ne sont plus d actualité...Il faudra penser a les modifier...Fini la grande table avec ses chaises, a la place, ce sont des tables avec bancs intégrés, pas tres facile pour des personnes de plus de 70 ansA part ca, tres belle maison, je recommande

Maison bien située, literie confortable, chambres spacieuses. Bonne communication avec la propriétaire qui est très arrangeante.Cependant, séjour/salon un peu étroits pour 12 et quelques points de propreté à revoir.Photos d'extérieur ne correspondent pas à la réalité ( tables et assises extérieures).Nous avons passé un très bon week-end sous le soleil.

Une chouette maison, très bien équipée, proche de la mer

Une maison agréable, très bien équipée et très accueillante pour les enfants et les animaux. Toute proche de la mer et pas très éloignée des commerces, elle est en même temps située proche des écuries et des champs salines ce qui fait son charme également. Les hôtes très gentils et soucieux de bien faire. Nous recommandons !

Hébergement optimal pour groupe

Maison très bien agencée. Cuisine hyper équipée. Il manque juste la VMC dans les toilettes et salles de bain . Grande terrasse bien exposée . Le jardin est suffisamment grand pour jouer trés bien clos pour un chien. La propriétaire est réactive et sympathique . En plus à 10 minutes à pied de la mer.

Un tres bon week-end

La maison est très bien placée. Tout est faisable a pied. Belles balades en bord de mer. Les couchages sont bons et linge de lit et toilette tres propres. La terrasse et le jardin sont tres agreables pour de grandes tablées ! La piece de vie un peu juste pour 10 personnes. Bémol la cuisiniere et le four n'étaient pas tres propres et un peu datés. Mais notre hôte a fait venir quelqu'un rapidement pour reparation.

De 17 à 87 ans vacances heureuses.

Habitués des locations saisonnières à st Martin nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits de cette dernière bien équipée pour des rassemblements familiaux. Avec les autres membres qui ont eux aussi un logis dans la même station. Très appréciable aussi lorsque nous sommes accompagnés de nos amis canins. Nous reviendrons très certainement l an prochain.

Stay in St Martin de Brehal

Amazing beach and surrounding areas. The Village has all you need and the nearest town, Granville is fabulous and well worth exploring with excellent food and historical Citidal.
