About the host
Hosted by Karl stevens

Lived in the house for 8 years, we moved for a job opportunity. We decided to share our home away from home for others to enjoy the peace and slower pace of life in michigans upper peninsula.
Why they chose this property
Very remote yet it is located on a main road for easy access and quick travel to any destinations in michigans U.P, especially during winter months. The home is surrounded by national forest with less than 200 residents residing in the township.
What makes this property unique
This property sits on 7 acres and bordering the north property line is miles of national forest open to the public to walking and adventuring. Many wild animals live in this forest (Black Bear, Moose, Whitetail Deer, Wolves, Coyote, cougars, Mink and so many more).
