I strongly recommend avoiding this property. The listing photos do NOT accurately represent the home’s current condition.The bunk bed room is a converted garage with a small window A/C unit that was improperly installed and not shown in the listing. The bunk bed was broken and injured my partner. We then discovered the broken frame was being supported by CEMENT BRICKS. The ceiling fan was also missing a blade. The host admitted he knew about it and wanted to enter the property while we were gone to fix it, which we were not comfortable with due to having valuable belongings inside.The property had numerous other serious maintenance and cleanliness issues: an improperly installed dishwasher, loose cabinet handles and faucets, holes in the walls, unsafe-looking light switches that appeared to be rigged, excessive old food and debris on the kitchen floors, and a filthy rug that we had to roll up because we could not use it. The beds were so uncomfortable they were essentially not sleepable.The home felt like a poorly maintained rental rather than the vacation home shown in the photos.The host also sent additional checkout requirements through messaging that differed from the VRBO-listed checkout instructions, including requiring us to take the trash cans to the street.For 450 a night, guests deserve a clean, safe, properly maintained property that accurately represents the listing. There were many more issues I could list, but my advice is simple: do not.
