The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The host is very nice and has open communication. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay
We were there to watch our grandson play ball at Cooperstown Allstar Village. It’s about 15 minutes away. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. Communication was great. It served our needs for the week we were there.
Took my family out to the Cooperstown Baseball tournament and stayed at Raymond’s place and it was wonderful. We had four boys with us and they all loved the place! Super clean and fun!
We stayed at Abel’s Acres to go to Cooperstown All Stars Village (CASV). The property was about 15 minutes away from CASV. It was also close to Oneonta, where there are a variety of stores (Walmart Super Center, five Below, Aldi), chain restaurants (Buffalo Wild Wings, Burger King, Panera), and local eateries (The Depot, Toscana Italian Grill). The property was very clean and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen (provide your own seasonings and condiments), and plenty of entertainment (outdoor basketball hoops, gaming console, and impressive DVD collection). You are surrounded by nature and serenity outside. We saw deer and groundhogs everyday and experienced an amazing rainstorm while there. Check-in and check-out was easy and convenient. Before our stay, Raymond and I chatted over the phone about the property and check-in process, which was a very nice personal touch. He responded quickly via text during our stay.We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Abel’s Acres and highly recommend it, especially if you’re going to Cooperstown.
Great stay while our fam was at Cooperstown Dreams Park
We enjoyed staying at Raymond's place as it was in a beautiful part of the country (lots of turns and winding roads from Cooperstown dreams park). The accommodations were perfect (beds, linens, kitchen supplies & laundry) and we enjoyed putting our feet up after several long days at the ballpark.
Everything was as advertised. Communication was great and prompt. House had plenty of space and everything was new and up to date. Great place for a family with kids. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here during our son's Cooperstown baseball tournament. Perfect for what we needed. Property was very clean and communication with the owner Ray was great. It was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the tournament and we would definitely stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.
It was our first time for us to visit Cooperstown and the cottage was perfect for our family 0f 5 to stay and enjoy the space. The owner was very nice and was available when needed . Thank you so much for allowing my family to stay.
Enjoyed this stay which was about 20 minutes from Dreams Park. A very nice place to unplug from the world. Quiet setting of about 5acres of open space and maple trees. Even though there was tv, games and wi-fi phone, we took time to enjoy family and rest. I would highly recommend this place as Raymond was a gracious host.
This place was perfect for our stay while our son played in Cooperstown. It was clean and spacious. If we had a question or concern the owner responded in a timely manner.
Amazing place to stay if playing in Cooperstown! This is our second year in a row. Very roomy and very comfortable. Kids will keep busy inside and out too! See you in 2 years with the next player coming up in the ranks!
We stayed here during our Cooperstown visit. It was clean and had everything we needed for a week long stay! My biggest concern was washer, dryer and all kitchen supplies for at home meals. This place had it all! Raymond greeted us when we arrived and was available to contact anytime. Highly recommend!!
It was nice and clean, everything functioned properly. We were playing at the dreams park, and did find that the commute, especially on foggy nights, was a bit challenging.
Property is just as described and pics are on point (but it’s even better than pics)! Great location, easy drive to Cooperstown, Dreams Park and Oneonta. Great and gorgeous outside area for families and kids to play. Couldn’t have been more perfect! Clean, well maintained, lots of amenities. Owner is great and check in is so easy! Stay here and you will not regret it!
