Beautiful historic home in the heart of Augusta! Bedrooms and bathrooms are updated and beautiful! A nice patio outside to enjoy a glass of wine or sit on the front porch and wave to the friendly neighbors. Karen, thank you so much for your kind review! It was truly a pleasure hosting you and Mark during Augusta's 25th Annual Art in the Garden. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Historic Tin Shop, from its updated spaces to its historic charm and walkable location in the heart of town. You both were such thoughtful guests, and your handwritten note and fresh eggs from New Richmond absolutely made our day. We are definitely looking forward to enjoying them! 😊 We're glad we had the opportunity to share some of the very best that Augusta has to offer—from the riverfront and local restaurants to the unique shops and welcoming community spirit that make this little town so special. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime, and we look forward to seeing you both again soon! – Rodney

This is one of those rare places that’s even better in person than it is in the photos.Staying in the beautifully restored Historic John Buerger Tin Shop was truly a unique experience. Knowing the building is part of Augusta’s history and has been thoughtfully preserved made the stay feel special from the moment we walked in. The owners have done an incredible job blending the original character, exposed brick walls, historic details, and craftsmanship, with all the modern comforts you’d expect in a high-end vacation rental. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was fully equipped, and every room felt intentionally designed. You can tell a tremendous amount of care went into every detail. The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to walk through historic Augusta, explore the local shops and restaurants, and simply enjoy the charm of this beautiful river town. It was peaceful, family-friendly, and a perfect getaway. What really made this stay stand out was the feeling that we weren’t just renting a place to sleep, we were experiencing a piece of Kentucky history that has been given new life. It’s rare to find a property that has so much character while still feeling fresh, luxurious, and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for something far more memorable than a typical vacation rental.

Our visit to Augusta was a step back in time with many modern conveniences. The Tin shop was historical yet modern. It was immaculate and welcoming. We enjoyed returning to sit a spell on the front porch after spending time walking along the river and through the town. The small town charm was very appealing and we look forward to returning to visit the area along with a few of our favorite spots like The General Store, Beehive Tavern, Augusta Pub and Augusta Distillery all within walking distance of the Tin shop. Our host responded in a timely manner with all of our questions and was very accommodating to our needs. Thank you for sharing the property with us for the weekend; we would love to visit again.

This home will not disappoint!! It is beautiful, clean, and the owners are fabulous to work with. I rented this home for my daughter’s wedding so her out of town bridesmaids had a wonderful place to stay. All three girls raved about this home. They loved the fireplace, the brick walls, the bathrooms, the fireplaces in the bedrooms and even the full length mirror!! It’s perfect!! The hairdressers and make up artist loved it as well. I cannot say enough good things about it. Do not hesitate to book this property.
