This comfortable townhouse has easy access ground level entry (6 stairs only) and has been fully remodelled including

newly painted rooms and new carpets, a recently purchased new sofa bed, 50 inch TV, queen mattress for the master bedroom and all new linens. A superb location only 3 minute walk to the Creekside Gondola. Beautifully renovated



- Master Bedroom: Queen bed, full size closet and fan available



- Living Space: Sofa bed with Queen mattress, wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, seating for 4.



- Laundry is NOT in unit, however there is a public laundromat across the street

- Village Access: Creekside village is right outside your door and to access main Whistler village it is a 6 minute drive or the bus runs just outside the complex

Great Location but that was about it

The location was great. about 5 min walk to the Creekside gondola. However the property had a few issues. First the sofa bed had one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. My back was ruined after a night on that bed. The mattress was bad but also the floor is not flat which made the bed be tilted/slanted so you are not sleeping flat, which added to the discomfort. The concierge and owner weren't able to do anything about it even after letting them know. The unit runs cold and for some reason especially at night. I could be wrong but it felt like the heat shuts off at times randomly at night even though the target temp was not reached. Not sure if it was a heating issue but I did notice there was a repairman that came on the day that I left. I also agree with other reviewers that mention that the shower/bathtub needs some type of grip. its really really slippery in there. Overall the unit was old and dated and cold. If you only care about proximity, its fine but there are many other rentals with better quality that are cheaper than this unit. For reference I had friends that stayed in other units that were in much better shape and quality with good sofa beds.

We apologize for the discomfort, but on a 2 night stay it would not have been possible to replace a sofa bed. We don't often receive that feedback as everyone has different preferences. However, the floor is NOT slanted. We are currently evaluating options to replace the mattress. We appreciate all of your comments, as they help us improve our property. Fantastic location. All of the amenities we needed. We had a great getaway and our dog loved it. Perfect place for an intimate couples retreat. Even free car charging stations in the municipal parking lot across the street!

Location was fine but the unit itself is a bit run down and could use some updates and repairs. There is no A/C in the unit which would have been fine, but we were not allowed to open the windows. This caused a stuffy interior during night time.

Great location in whistler.

Overall great stay. Good location. Very clean. Quite small for our group of 3 adults and a teen, but we made it work. The bed was very comfortable, however, the pull out sofa bed was not. Some care and attention to details, such as replacing burned out light bulbs would give the place 5 stars.

Great location

Overall a good rental in a great location due to the new gondola nearby. One complaint would be that the mattress on the sleeper-couch was pretty bad. We ended up not using it after the first night.

The location is great but everything else is not. The unit is old and it isn't well maintained.Check-in time is at. 4 and check out at 10, but even with 6 hours to "prepare" the room for the next guest, the unit doesn't look clean.

Unit very hot at check in, tried to open windows. Both front window hinges broken. Location was excellent, squeaky doors bothered others in the night. Nice if there was a local map in the room at check in.

Very convenient location

I like the fact that the place is just a 5 min walk from the Creekside ski lift. Door keypad is easy to use and parking is available. It's a bit noisy as the sound from upstairs comes right through. Also the bathtub faucet is continuously dripping and should be fixed. I cleaned out the hair dryer vent because it was plugged with lint and dust.

The location is great if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of the main village. You can walk to the Creekside gondola. Bring warm clothes for indoors. The heat is not great unless the neighboring condos are occupied. There were dirty linens left in the loft when we arrived and when we called the response was don’t use the loft. Instructions are poor, you will be asked to put all the dishes in a non-existent dishwasher and run it, and to take the trash out before you leave though the trash depository was never found.

Great Place for a Small Group

We just returned from a great stay at Gondola Village Unit 1. The location was perfect and an easy stroll with young kids to Creekside gondola, ski school and shops/restaurants. This was our first time to Whistler, we were happy we chose the quieter location in Creekside over the main village. The unit was clean, easily accessible and spacious enough for our family of four. The loft was an added bonus for the kids to have some downtime while we stayed below and enjoyed a glass of wine and complimentary Netflix. The kitchen is small but fine for a quick breakfast before the slopes or small meal/snack in the evening. We were only there for 4 nights so we ate out most nights. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Highly recommend this unit and we'll definitely be back!
