7500 sq. Ft. Casa De Las Tortugas (House of the Turtles) sits on the beautiful beach of Playa Langosta. So close that the surf is to be heard from just about every room in the house.
During your stay, our exceptionally hardworking staff will take great care of you. Our staff includes a housekeeper, grounds keeper and concierge.
Our concierge can set up transportation, tours, chefs and for fill any special requests you may have.
Our home is very rare in its floor plan. No other home on Millionaires Row has such a Unique floor plan with all oceanfront Masters and large windows so you don't miss out on the views even when inside.
Another rare characteristic of Tortugas is that all the homes situated on our beach are connected to each other so we do not have side yards. You can only go through the house to get to the back or front yard. Tortugas was built with a tunnel that goes under our home so our security guard can patrol the front and the back without walking through the house and your private space.
Mario our security guard has been with us since the house was built. He is there to ensure that during your stay you will always have a good night sleep.

The Langosta Community:
Has so much to offer. Our quiet, quant, upscale Langosta Community is on a dead-end road from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo (less then 1 mile away).

is OPEN to the Public and has a restaurant, Gym, Pool, Massage studio, surfing/paddle board for your use. (Gym, Pool and of course Massage/surfing/paddle board are additional $ to use)

*Gym pass $15 day/Weekly $45

.....Tamarindo Energy Fitness is another great gym! (Day pass $10/ day $30/wk)

*Cala Luna Resort is right out our front gates and has a restaurant, bar, spa and yoga.

*Down the street is Capitain Suizo Resort that has a Restaurant Spa and Surfing/paddleboard to enjoy.

We also have an Adorable beachfront B&B 3 doors down that is open for breakfast.
Our rates do not include breakfast because of so many convenient and unique places to enjoy. If you wish for a chef to come for breakfast we can provide one for an additional fee. In the mean time we don't add breakfast to our rates so that we can remain to keep our rates as low as possible for those who do not want breakfast service.

About the House: Designed by acclaimed architect Abraham Valenzuela, executed by the well-known Karl Gronemeyer and built by the hands of Costa Ricans with imported wood columns, ornate doors and artifact's that were imported directly from Indonesia… These two cultures blended together create a serene oceanfront escape. Over seen and executed by Karl again, In 2015 Casa De Las Tortugas went under a careful restoration that has enhanced its subdued and simple, yet elegant character.
This breathtaking 7500 sq. ft. beach front estate is truly one-of-a kind which makes it the perfect place for an Oceanfront celebration with multiple families or friends traveling together.

Staying at Casa de Las Tortugas you can't help but leave the world behind. You can head to the pool or to the beach with a cold drink in your hands and for the warm sand between your toes…. You're close enough to go back for a refill.

North Wing of the house:

Frog Room Master Suite~
Situated on the top level and furnished with a King bed, Full bathroom, large windows and sliding glass door leading out to your private lanai that over looks stunning ocean views.

DragonFly Room Master suite~
Situated on the Main living level, Furnished with a King bed and Full bathroom. You have floor to ceiling windows and a sliding glass door leading out to a private lanai with breath-taking views of the ocean.

Pool Room Master Suite~
Pool Level Suite, furnished with a King bed and Full bath with a large Outdoor Shower. This room is extremely Unique. Its a space for those who want to get away and feel closer to the ocean. It's decorated to feel airy and light with soothing colors of blues and greens. Its floor to ceiling windows and glass door over look the waves breaking on the beach.. Step out on your deck and enjoy a cup of coffee as you listen to them crash.


South Wing:

The Monkey Room Master Suite~
One of our most spacious master suites furnished with a King bed and Full bathroom. As you enter into the room you will walk past a outdoor meditation room with a bed that over looks one of our fountain pools that we have throughout the house. Relax, lay down, read a book and listen to the sounds of the fountain. The Monkey room has our best views in the house. It has floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the room. One wall of windows overlooks the ocean the other over looks our pool and courtyard. You can watch and listen to the sounds of the ocean on your private lanai.

Tortugas Master Suite~
On the main level, this is our other most spacious master suite. It is furnished with a King size bed and our largest bathroom in the house. We have a roman tub and shower that looks out over a fountain pool. The shower has floor to ceiling doors that open to enjoy the outdoor breeze as if you are showering outside. As the monkey room does, Tortugas Master has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Ocean, pool and courtyard. You will have your own private lanai with gorgeous views and sounds to match. This is the only lanai that steps out to the courtyard and pool.

The Casita ~
This Suite is in our front yard gated courtyard. It is furnished with two twins and a full bathroom. However you have the option for us to turn it into a king if you choose.
This suite is for monkey lovers. you will hear them constantly and be able to know when they are at our front gates which they are there daily.

Within our gated courtyard we have a double garage that enters into our laundry room which is connected to our main level living area.

Main Floor Living area~
Our open floor plan living includes a living area, dining area and kitchen. (dining table seats10 and a kitchen bar that seats 5) We also have a Bar so you have the access of two refrigerators and two different spaces to prepare drinks for a more fluid traffic flow when someone is cooking.
Our living-dining-kitchen is surrounded by 3 fountain pools that create a soothing atmosphere as if you were in a spa. This living space is also floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. So turn off the AC, open it up and enjoy the sounds, smells and breeze of the ocean!
