Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Tucson. The apartment is in a great location very close to Sabino Canyon with some amazing hiking, close to stores, food and many other points of interest. The apartment was very clean and accommodated our family wonderfully. The host was great, the apartment is very well stocked with everything you need.

The condo was one of the best we have ever rented, the kitchen was well stocked, the heating/cooling system worked well and the complex was neat and enjoyable. We liked the screened porch, the pool and hot tub which were well maintained. Scott was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed when we checked in.

We're Scott and Rachel, your hosts. We live in Golden, Colorado. We met at the University of Arizona and have family in the foothills area. We are both geologists and love Tucson, and not just for the Gem Show.

Why they chose this property

The foothills offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Santa Catalina mountains daily. The Ventana Canyon trailhead is just out the door, perfect for a quick hike. There's restaurants and a grocery store a little over a mile away. Ventana Canyon Golf & Raquet Club is a mile down the road with public access to two 18 hole courses, pickleball and tennis. Spa services are available at the Ventana Canyon Lodge. The area offers all the amenities one could want while on vacation or during an extended stay.

What makes this property unique

Our property is on the ground floor, easy for anyone to access with a laid back southwestern style. The patios are a fantastic space to enjoy a book, margarita or a meal! Three bedrooms provide ample space to spread out or invite more friends to join. An office set up (large monitor, desk and chair) is available in case you need to get some work done while visiting Tucson.
