The tiny tiny cabin has a queen bed and twin mattress in the loft area. We have 7 other tiny homes down the Lane. Perfect for gathering with friends and family.
We are located in CaneBeds not Fredonia. This Tiny Tiny Bunkhouse is located on 40 acres and is a perfect tiny home to enjoy out in the country. With chickens, cows, goats, horses and more about you’ll have plenty of friends. Beautiful Sunsets, Stars and Sunrises.
The space We are a cattle family who homesteaded the Arizona Strip. Our place has horses, cats, dogs, chickens, roosters, goats and cattle. We are completely off the grid. Our water is off a well and our electricity is solar. The rooster crows in the morning. The water can sometimes have a unique odor but is clean and safe and we provide free water bottles. We don’t see them often but there are snakes (mostly blow snakes but rattle snakes are native, scorpions (non poisonous) coyotes and other critters from time to time .
If you like petting and feeding the ranch animals please feel free to offer a hand. We are 5,000 feet in elevation and experience all seasons. We are 15 minutes away from the coral pink san dunes.
Guest access Parking is great, Lots of space. There is a town 10 minutes away that have delicious family run places to eat, a grocery store, places to hike and parks. Driving is a must in this area, we live in a very rural area.
Other things to note The cabin is Aprox 10ft x 16ft, so it is a compact space. The loft's are small as well. Only children or adults under 200lb should sleep in the twin bed located in the loft.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We arrived at this property after an 11+ hour drive, exhausted with my kids, only to find no check-in instructions. The owner blamed a “glitch” on Expedia. After finally getting in, we immediately noticed spiders everywhere, and the loft looked unclean, there was even a dead beetle next to the twin bed. It was uncomfortable and not as described, so I decided to leave and book a hotel 45 minutes away in Hurricane, Utah.
I emailed the owner that night after getting my kids settled, and again the next day, but he didn’t reply until days later, after Vrbo intervened. Ironically, he had been very responsive before my arrival when I asked to add a night and sent payment through Venmo, so clearly communication wasn’t an issue until there was a problem.
When he finally replied, he made a dismissive apology and claimed the loft wasn’t cleaned because I “didn’t disclose my children.” I sent him my booking confirmation, which did include them. Even if it hadn’t, why wouldn’t you clean the entire property for any new guest? That response said a lot.
He offered to refund just the $35 cleaning fee out of the $170 I paid, but I still haven’t received even that. SO property wasn’t clean, communication was poor, and the host was quick to take money but slow to take responsibility. I would not stay here again simply based on how he handled this situation. I think I was respectful, honest & fair, and was met with untrustworthy business practices and poor accountability. DO NOT RECOMMEND
We always love our stay at the Wild West 40! This is definitely the tiniest of their tiny homes, but it was plenty of room for 2 adults and 1 kiddo. The beds were comfy, the shower water pressure was great, and the kitchen was sufficient for cooking our meals. The critters outside are definitely friendly and we enjoyed feeding Stella and Sweetie and their calves carrots, along with Kincaid, Trigger, and the goats. The chickens kindly provided us with fresh eggs for breakfast!
