We had a lovely time at this property. It is cozy, well stocked with what we needed, and clean. Nice location convenient to the charms of New England. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, with family on site who was helpful and friendly. It was also very dog friendly, which was important us. Very nice and charming rental for what we were looking for!
My family and I (pets included) stayed here for three weeks, and it couldn't have gone better. The hosts were accommodating, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Traveling with a family and animals can be a hassle, but they made it simple. If you're headed to Pembroke, New Hampshire, I'd recommend this property to anyone. We'd happily stay again.
Such a cozy and clean place to stay, it felt like home to us! Easy to communicate needs with the owner- Grammy Dee went above and beyond to supply us with baby equipment and chat with us about life in Concord. The house is full of love and thoughtfulness and generosity. It’s a beautiful property, close to everything. We left wishing we could’ve bought the place and stayed forever.
We booked this rental with less than 24 hours notice after another rental fell through. The hosts were quick to respond to our request and everything was great. There was plenty of room for our 5 adults to hang out after a day of skiing nearby. The basket of goodies was a treat and we were very happy with this rental.
The only hiccup with our stay was the inability to keep the entirety of the location cool with the window A/C units located in the bedrooms. NH was having a heat wave while we were there, and due to the age of the home, there was no active A/C system. While the bedrooms stayed comfortable, the rest of the location was warm during the daytime. Otherwise, our stay was great, the house was beautiful and had plenty of room for our family of 4!
Had a great stay at this charming farmhouse. Although older, this home had all of the amenities for our brief stay. One of the benefits of VRBO is the uniqueness of the available properties, and this home is no exception. No issues at all during our stay, everything was as described in the listing. A sleeve of homemade cookies and a jar of homemade pasta sauce made us feel immediately welcome. The property is close to downtown Concord, overlooks a golf course, and is within walking distance to an ice cream stand. Also recommend going into downtown Pembroke to enjoy the small town charm.I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in need of a place to stay in the greater Concord area.
