About this property

Casita on the Plaza

This Casita is one of the original houses on the Plaza. Air conditioning, 3 bedroom house in Loreto, Bedroom 1 a full bed. Bedroom 2 and 3 each with a twin bed. Perfect for a family. An enclosed yard. Right on the Plaza. Artwork inside painted by local artist. Original adobe brick is exposed inside and outside. We have tried to keep the casita as original as possible. Stroll thru the Plaza and enjoy the restaurants and shopping. Malecon is within walking distance.Enjoy!

Plumbing in Loreto is a bit antiquated. Place used toilet paper in garbage next to toilet. Do not take towels outside or blankets off the bed. Do not take furniture outside.

Very nice restored historic building-clean and has everything you need-couldn’t be closer to everything you need on the plaza and a short walk to the beach. Best place in town for sure!! Not loud at night either.

This house is beautiful! The historic charm is carried throughout with unique art and furniture. It's in a wonderful central location just off the plaza where you can enjoy families that are spending time together, watching kids riding their bikes, and Friday night street market. Wonderful outdoor space.

Great communication from the host with clear instructions. House is located in a great location on the plaza. Easy access to restaurants, bars, the mission, Malecon, and stores (including grocery store). It’s great for guests who love to be part of the experience of being in the plaza. Be mindful that noise can be part of this experience, but it’s never an inconvenience. House is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. A charming Mexican home.

The host was very accommodating. Since we did not rent a car she picked us up the next morning, took us for a short tour around the area, and let us pick up groceries. She checked on us and made sure everything was ok. Loved the location as you can walk to everything.

It’s in the Plaza, very safe and walking distance to food shops and Malecon
We tried to keep the house in original form.
Original windows. Please do not open unless necessary. Shower and door overheads are low. Please beware. They are original except for the doors. Floors are old but clean. Casita is over 100 years old. Do not take blankets and towels outside. Lost keys and lost remotes are 50.00 charge. Do not remove items from the house. Please leave the Casitas’s clean as you found it except for linens and towels. Please enjoy our stay in the casita
