Sedona Shadows, a neighbourhood in Sedona, is home to this cottage. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Slide Rock State Park and Oak Creek Canyon. Sedona Arts Center and Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village are also worth visiting.
Kitchen was fine with necessary items. There is some side shops near. But you'll have to drive back 8 miles to shop in Sedona. It was quiet in the canyon and hiking was close. Of course depends on which hike you want to do.
Nice, cozy cottage. Very serene. Perfect location. Far enough away from the tourist locations when I want peace and quiet but close enough for when I want to see people.Lynn was extremely attentive. She responded to my messages timely. She even sent me a message to check in on me and make sure everything was ok.
10/10 – Perfect Sedona GetawayMy wife and I stayed here for two nights in October 2025 and absolutely loved it. The cottage is beautiful, very clean, and surrounded by nature. We especially enjoyed quiet mornings on the back patio listening to the creek. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to hike and explore Sedona. The location was ideal. It’s a short drive to the main shopping area and restaurants, yet still feels peaceful and tucked away. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable after long days on the trails. The owner, Lynn, was a pleasure to deal with. She was very responsive and made the whole process simple. The property is clearly well cared for, and every detail, from how spotless it was to the thoughtful touches throughout, made our stay relaxing and easy. We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Sedona.

Upon arrival, we were immediately overwhelmed by an extremely strong odor of marijuana throughout the house. The smell was so intense that my husband, who suffers from asthma and is highly sensitive to the odor, experienced severe migraines and respiratory issues. He even considered leaving immediately due to the discomfort. Rather than enjoying our stay, we spent our time airing out the house in hopes that the situation would improve enough for us to remain. When we raised our concerns, the owners claimed the smell was likely due to a skunk outside. However, this explanation did not make sense, as the odor was only present inside the home and not outdoors. There was no indication of a skunk anywhere on the property. Additionally, we felt the owners to be argumentative and unaccommodating regarding our concerns. The listing was also misleading as it gives the impression that the house is situated directly on the creek, which it is not. Accessing the creek from the house is neither direct nor safe. This trip was meant to be a special getaway for our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately, we left very disappointed. We are deeply saddened by the experience. On the upside, the location is beautiful.
