Why they chose this property
When our oldest child chose the University of Alabama, our whole family quickly fell in love with Tuscaloosa. My wife and I love the energy of the university, the excitement of game days, and the incredible food and nightlife—but we also value space to unwind.
That’s what led us just across the river to the charming, historic town of Northport. We were drawn to its slower pace, its vibrant arts scene, and the small-town charm you can feel in every café, boutique, and gallery—even the classic five-and-dime store.
After touring dozens of homes, we found the perfect retreat on Twin Manor Drive—tucked away in a peaceful, welcoming neighborhood, yet only three miles from Bryant-Denny Stadium, the UA campus, and downtown Tuscaloosa. Whether you choose to bike, drive, or take a quick $8 rideshare, getting to the action is effortless.
When you return home to Capstone Manor, you’ll find yourself just a short walk from Northport’s quaint downtown—full of charm, character, and Southern hospitality. The neighbors are kind, the streets are quiet, and a beautiful public park sits right across the street.
