Emerald Lakes Community offers lake and beach access during the summer months. The amenities include an indoor pool, an outdoor pool (closed at Labor Day and opens on Memorial day), an indoor games room, a bar and grill, a playground, a volleyball court, and a tennis court. You will need to purchase community amenity passes to access the facilities.

📌 The outdoor pool and boat rentals will close for the season on September 2.
📌Please be aware that a Burn Ban may be announced at any time by the community. While the fire pit is one of the key highlights of this property, it’s crucial to follow all burn ban regulations strictly. Failure to do so may result in fines from the community, which guests will be responsible for. We will keep you informed in real time should any such announcements occur during your stay.
📌Easy self-check-in is available via the smart lock on the front door.
📌 You will require a community amenity pass to access the Emerald Lake Community amenities, which you can purchase online using your cell phone. We will send instructions after your booking is confirmed.
📌 Amenity pass fees per person (current as of March 2025): $20 for a 1-day pass, $30 for a 3-day pass, or $50 for a 7-day pass. The fee is not included in your booking. You can purchase the pass either on the app or at the welcome desk. Children aged 2 and under are free of charge.
📌 You can rent a boat or bring your own to go fishing on the lake. If using your boat, you will be asked to pay a $15 registration fee. Please note that only electric boats are permitted; no gas motors are allowed.
📌 The lake is home to plenty of bass and other fish. Please note that fishing in PA is subject to a fishing license, which costs about $30. Application for a license can be made on the PA Fish & Boat Commission website. Catch and release only.
📌 The booking party must be at least 25 years old and must be present at the home throughout the stay.

📌 For VRBO or direct bookings, please note that even if a cancellation qualifies under the cancellation policy, the 10% payment processing fee is non-refundable. This is due to the fact that we use external payment processors like Stripe, which do not refund processing fees.
🚫Unlike other community lakes and beaches, Little Deer Pond isn’t maintained or tested for bacteria, so we don’t recommend swimming. It’s best enjoyed for kayaking, pedal boating, fishing, or relaxing on floats instead.

🔥Don`t leave fire pit unattended and fully extinguish when finished

⛔️This is a smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the home. Any violation of this policy will incur a $500 fee to cover extra cleaning and related expenses. Additionally, guests will be held responsible for any damages caused by smoking beyond this fee.

⛔️Setting off any fireworks is strictly prohibited and illegal

🤫 Please respect the the quiet hours of 9pm-8am. Noise must stay below 60 dBA. Violations incur a $500 fine and may lead to eviction.

🅿️ Vehicles must be parked in the driveway max of 5, anywhere else can result in a fine

⚡Speed limit in the community is 25mph

🗑️All trash must be bagged and placed in the bear box next to the propane tank on the left side of the house !!!

🕒 Late check-out and early check-in may be available for a small fee, depending on availability.
