About this property

Home Away From Home in Historic Dundee

Thank you for considering my classic tudor style home. You will certainly enjoy your stay whether you are staying in or going out on the town. The house is fully equiped with fully stocked kitchen, premium appliances, comfortable memory foam mattresses, 47 inch television, X-Box, Wii, broadband wi-fi, and beautiful antique-style furniture. There are many exciting events and things to do in the area including the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, College World Series, the Olympic swim trials, concerts and other events at Century Link Center, Old Market and Downtown Omaha, Historic Dundee area, Midtown Crossing, etc. Memorial Park is less than a block away and the University of Nebraska is just beyond. There is room for 3 couples in our 3 bedrooms and a nice dining area with a fully stocked kitchen if you choose to dine in. Two of our favorite restaurants, Dundee Dell and Pitch Pizza, are just a few blocks away. Feel free to email us with any questions. Our main rules are be clean, be honest, and when you leave please have things as they were.

Great place in perfect, quiet neighborhood

Host was great with everything & cozy, comfortable house worked great for us. First time @ CWS and this location was perfect. Enjoyed morning walks in neighborhood & town/stadium all were less than 10 min drive. Definitely recommend & we will be back & stay here.

Lovely stay for CWS

This was everything we could have asked for. It’s located in one of Omaha’s best neighborhoods just a few blocks from memorial park and e creamery. The house is clean and fully equipped. The only issue is the ac in the upper level bedrooms. In hot weather you have to keep the ac low to keep the bedrooms comfortable.

Dundee cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy feeling of holidays at home. Neighborhood was quaint and cottages are vine-covered with mature canopied streets throughout and lovely memorial park nearby.

Great locations to stay for a long weekend trip

This property was perfect for my short stay in Omaha attending a dog training clinic. Perfect place to rest after a long day working at a clinic.

Relaxing stay in a nice quiet community

Nice house in a very nice neighborhood. A few things could have been better for the price we were paying though. 1) the AC doesn't work well upstairs so during hot summer days it is very uncomfortable to sleep in the bedrooms upstairs with the fans on; 2) the trash area by the kitchen smelled terrible when we arrived and smell lasted for a few days; 3) would have liked a heads up from the host before he stopped by with his family to do gardening around the house during out stay.

Perfect!

Thoroughly enjoyed this charming house! It was just what I need since I was hosting a small group for a wine tasting. The house and property are just as presented and the neighborhood was wonderful! Even made friends with the neighbors! I will not only use this again for hosting, but also to just come, stay & relax!

Beautiful home!! Friendly, helpful neighbors!! Love the cozy cottage feel! Upstairs master bedroom felt like being in a treehouse, with all the beautiful cardinals chirping and singing songs. Lovely!

Great Home

This home was the perfect size and in a great location for our stay in Omaha. It had everything we needed for our family of two adults and two kids to comfortably spend a week visiting family in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Felt like home

Everything was wonderful. The only problems were not being able to turn living room light off, the upper level shower needs non slip strips or something like that on the floor of the shower, and the outer door handle on the front storm door came off.

Great visit to Omaha

Stayed at the house 7 nights during US Olympic Swim Trials in June 2016. House is older but well kept up and in a great neighborhood. Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Omaha. Wonderful, friendly neighbors who spoke to us and waved! We don't always get that where we live!!! Would return again next time we are visiting Omaha. Carol Konetzke

Great house!

This house was perfect for two couples who came to enjoy the College World Series. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. We walked into the Dundee shopping area for ice cream and coffee. Memorial Park is just down the street and the drive into Old Town is just a few minutes away. The house is very comfortable and feels just like home. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Will stay there again & again

Great home in the heart of Omaha's Dundee neighborhood. We were here over the July 4th weekend and had a blast. I would highly recommend this VRBO because of its great location, cleanliness of the house, excellent decor and quality of the beds. The kitchen has very nice appliances and cooking utensils and the LED TV in the living room got plenty of use. Memorial Park is only half a block south, downtown Omaha is less than 10 minutes and the neighborhood is very safe. Karla was great to work with, and I will be returning to this VRBO on my next visit.
