The home was great; good location, clean, spacious, fully appointed. The use of the little skiff made the stay that much better. Terry was great to chat with, very informative and accommodating. We will certainly be returning to Terry's home in the future.
Great place to stay. Anything you can think of is available. The host is very helpful and available if needed. Looking forward to next years stay already.
We were both so pleased with this home from the moment we walked in. The place has wide open spaces with 2 living areas and a comfortable couch for lounging. Every room has a skylight which makes the place bright and cheerful. The beds were comfortable (which is frequently not the case with home rentals) and the kitchen has all the amenities! Then there is the reason we chose this place... the 60 feet of dock space right out the back door! So convenient for fishing! Let's not forget to mention the great blue heron that hangs out close by! We will definitely plan our next trip to Homasassa around this home's availability! Oh and the owner was close by if you needed anything so thanks Terry!
Two coffee makers (one Keurig and one drip) and two grills (one two burner propane and a Charcoal kettle). The owner is amazing and so is this house. We’ve been here several times and will always come back, giving the opportunity! Great beds and dockage (for our 24’ twin console) and plenty of trailer/truck parking. Rent, relax and enjoy all that is here!
Wonderful spacious home. Host lives next door but maintains to himself but is nice when a small issue may crop up unexpectedly. We've visited 4 years in a row now and consider it to be a true vacation home. We'll appointed as far as kitchen items and extra towels, etc.Highly recommended....even though it's a true secret I'd like to keep to myself Well done Terry!
This was hands down my favorite VRBO stay. The host Terry was just the nicest person, the home was so clean and wonderfully kept with lots of games available, including chess (I left an open game for the next guest) We cannot wait until our next stay in Old Homosassa. Thank you Terry for an amazing experience, we hope to see you again soon.
The photos don’t do this property justice! It is open and beautifully decorated. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need for your stay. Beds were comfortable, rooms were well appointed and made for a great night’s sleep. We plan to make this a repeat location! (And my husband is Very picky about most everything).
Everything was great, Terry even brought me over a fishing pole(that I did not end up using). View was beautiful and peacefull. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.
Wonderful place to stay whether the weather is perfect or you get rained out. Close enough to town and restaurants but tucked away so you feel away from it all
The house was more than we expected! Clean, well stocked, great location and the water view was excellent. The area was peaceful and our host Terry was awesome. We will be making a return trip very soon.
We had a great stay for opening week of scallop season. Everything with the house was just perfect. Looking forward to booking our next stay at the Ottersden!
This is the perfect home away from home. It is very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Spacious, clean and a great location. We will be booking this one again.
The Otters Den is a hidden gem. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everyting we needed. We spent most of the time successfully fishing in the canal. We did a manatee tour that was outstanding. The host lived next door and was very attentive and friendly. This was a wonderful house and we'll be back this summer for scalloping.
