Recently remodeled home in Old Homosassa. Almost an acre corner lot overlooking the vast bay. This is a large four-bedroom, two baths. We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. All the furnishings are high-end. The property has a screened lanai room, oversized deck patio with gas grill, table chairs, screened boathouse with a cleaning station on the dock with sink, ICE MACHINE, and open patio with table/chairs. Boat tie-up area. Floating dock area for kayaks. Truly a fisherman's paradise.
Sit in the lanai room or the boathouse and watch the Manatees and Dolphins. You can fish or crab right off the dock—four Kayaks and one Canoe available. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. DIRECT ACCESS TO RIVER AND GULF. Less than 1 mile to the boat ramp, Mc Rae's, Freezer, Shelly's Fish House, Old Mill, Shed, and Riverside Resort. Minutes to Homosassa Wild Life Park, Publix, Tractor Supply, and Walmart. Close to everything!!!!

This was the best vrbo we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, amazingly well supplied and so comfortable. We especially liked gathering in the screened in boat house for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. Would definitely stay here again,

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property that was equipped with everything we needed! The house is beautiful, the views are incredible, and the boat dock was a perfect place to drink coffee and eat lunch. We loved having the kayaks and paddle board to use. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved this house

Great accommodations, well equipped, very clean, and beds were very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch and dock. Great neighbor Dave was also a fantastic fishing guide. Perfect location just off the Homosassa River and near the gulf. Can’t wait to come back.

Homosassa Birthday Trip

The house was great, not too far from the Freezer, and Shed. Water access was good. The ice maker was fantastic. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Very good time and will try to rent again.

The photos and online description don’t do the home justice! Impeccably clean - wonderfully equipped and furnished. Location is lovey and peaceful. The home is more spacious than it appears. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Great home!

We truly enjoyed our trip to Homasassa despite the rain! This house was a great place to hang out when it was raining. Plenty of covered outdoor space, games, puzzles and DVDs. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare a meal at home. It’s such a peaceful place. We look forward to coming back next year.

Thanksgiving break

We had a great stay. The place was clean and the use of the kayaks were great. We were just confused because the listing says hot tub but there was not a hot tub on the property. We would stay there again though. We would definitely recommend this property.

Family reunion

Checked in to this lovely spacious home and were so pleased with all that it offered. We had a pretty full schedule of activities and this did not use many of the amenities offered, but it was an oasis to return to after our busy days at the animal park and manatee observatory, Drunken Pirate History Tour, and time out in the Chassowitska Marsh.

Scalloping Weekend

This is the second year we have stayed here. Marni is always very accommodating and helpful. We love that we can bring our boat here and hang out in the boat house after a day of being on the water. We will book here next year as well. Thanks for an awesome weekend!!

Gorgeous River Home

We were in town for a music festival in this house is absolutely stunning. Everything you could possibly need is there. All of the furnishings and accessories are top notch. Super convenient to all of our favorite places. Plenty of parking. Beautiful lawn and dock area. My only regret is that I did not have time to make use of the kayaks. If we go to Homosassa for an event again, this is the first property I will try to rent.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL IN ALL ASPECTS

We have stayed in 50+ VRBO rentals over the past several years, and this was definitely one of the very cleanest properties, inside and out, that we have stayed at. The location was convenient; we liked that it was only about a mile from the boat ramp. Parking for our truck and boat trailer, as well as my dad's vehicle was more than adequate and easily accessible. Home has been updated and has lovely decor and furnishings. The large back yard is so inviting and peaceful. Overall, it was a wonderful 3 night stay, and we definitely give this 5 stars in all aspects!

Relaxing Vacation

The house was just as described and pictured. We had a very nice time around the Homosassa & Crystal River area. Lots to do and see and we enjoyed coming back to the house and sitting out on the back porch each evening. The house was very well stocked and we had no issues other then trying to get the TV logged onto the cable box. We had to figure out what the prior guests had done but we finally got it to work. I would recommend this house for sure!

We lived in Arizona. I have been coming to Homosassa since 1976. My Aunt and Uncle lived in the area, and my fondest memories as a child were on the Homosassa River. We finally decided to purchase a home where one day we could retire and visit as much as possible.

Why they chose this property

This property has been completely updated. It has everything to make your fishing trip relaxing and enjoyable. The location is close to all the Hot Spots (Freezer. Shed, Mc Rae's, Old Mill, Publix). Screened in the boathouse with a cleaning station and ice machine—plenty of room to park your boat trailers. You can sit in the screened lanai room and watch the manatees and dolphins.

What makes this property unique

We are located on the Homosassa River. Quite area, but located close to everything in Old Homosassa. Live Music at all the local restaurants. Close to boat ramp. Golf Cart community.
