About this home:
Stay in a charming historic bungalow in the heart of downtown Bentonville, the lamp lighter district, three blocks away from the Bentonville Square, including brewpubs, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, bike trails, the back entrance to Crystal Bridges, & a fantastic Walmart Neighborhood Market around the corner. It has a small fenced in backyard, full/big kitchen, one bath, one bedroom, king in master, laundry room-W/D, cable TV, & wireless internet, sitting/futon room. Parking spot right in front. On a quiet side residential street.

6x8 BIKE SHED in privacy fenced yard. Hose too.

Guests love the location, and often share that it’s nicer & bigger than they expected. Tons of repeat guests. Even monthly ones! Been in business 5.5 years. Quite a ride!

The Space:
A great place to stay for single travelers, couples, business travelers, museum goers, bikers wanting super clean & all the amenities of home with charm & plenty of room, walking distance to the Bentonville Square, close to the bike trails & Crystal Bridges. It's a nice alternative to a hotel, including a great kitchen, lots of open space, laundry room (5 min drive to Walmart's Home Office).

We also own the little house next door listed as its own separate property/fees if you need more space. It’s a little one bedroom, one bath…sleeps 2 and.darling!

Guest Access:
There is a nice sized kitchen, a dining area right off the kitchen, stainless appliances (huge fridge, gas cooktop), granite, gray glass subway backsplash, white cabinets, & restored hardwood floors. Warm gray walls, white trim, privacy curtains, lots of windows, updated bathroom, and wood floors throughout. There is also a laundry room with a door to the small fenced in back yard.

*Note we wash all bedding used including blankets after each visit. There are multiple sheet sets & blankets that we rotate.

*Any aged child is considered a guest.

Check in message/info is sent 1-2 days before arrival. Departure message is sent night before departure.

Calendar restrictions:
If guests stay three nights or more, they can book one weekend night vs two; otherwise we only book Friday & Saturday nights together.

Getting Around:
You can walk to the Bentonville Square (2-5min walk), bike, or get on the bike trails a few blocks away. The house is located on the northwest corner of the square, closest to The Preacher's Son restaurant. You can also uber or drive to anywhere else in the Bentonville or Rogers area, all within a 5-15 min drive (movies, mall, parks...).

I live 2 blocks away & am available via text or email anytime to help with anything house related/recommendations. There is a lock box with a code/key upon arrival. Check-in is any time after 4 pm and check-out is by 11am.

A Gem!

We greatly enjoyed this tidy craftsman house within walking distance of downtown Bentonville. We were able to walk to Crystal Bridges as well as many restaurants and even a Walmart. We’d definitely look to reserve it again on another trip.

Beautiful home walkable to everything!

What a beautiful home. Our host Heather has put a great deal of thought into making sure you have everything you might need as a sometimes forgetful traveler. If you forgot your charger there is one waiting for you on the kitchen counter, this and many other small details were appreciated. Clean and comfortable. Our host responded immediately after 10pm when we realized there was no hot water. This was remedied in a better than expected amount of time! I would never hesitate to book this home again.

Location location

Lovely place with plenty of room for two people to stretch out. An easy stroll to downtown food and shopping + super quick spin to the trail. Definitely the place to stay if you're looking to experience Bentonville with minimal driving.

Perfect stay

We loved our stay at Helene's place for our honeymoon. She was nice enough to leave us a little cake to celebrate. The house is so cute and located extremely close to the town center. Check in and out was simple and we had no issues during our stay.

Love all things home, the older the better-junking, re-modeling, mixing old with new, anything to make a home functional & up-to-date, yet warm and inviting.

Why they chose this property

This property needed love but had great bones, charm, character and most importantly an ideal location to walk to the Bentonville Square. My partners and I had a vision and jumped in head first, re-modeling all aspects of the home but being sure to preserve the charm such as restoring the 80 year old floors and using the old doors.

As a mom of five and pets, we have made sure to make this a family friendly home for babies, toddlers, children & pets as well!

What makes this property unique

The porch, the big tree, the old doors, baseboards and built-ins led us to believe that we had a fixer upper with great potential. Having such a cute home with space & modern updates so close to the Bentonville square is what makes this property so unique.
