What a cute little place tucked neatly in a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for us two gals. The shower was awesome and the toiletries and sheets were luscious! Check in was easy. Private and very safe. Super clean and well stocked. Perfect little getaway for two.

A cozy hide-away

The property is set back in a lovely garden in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access and great communication with owners. VERY comfortable beds and pillows and all around a wonderful stay. A five-minute drive to shops and a very short drive to Arroyo Village, which is precious.

Nice place

Lovely host and location. We liked the garden area. The layout is a bit quirky, because the bathroom is between the living room area and the bedroom, you have to walk through it to get the other side. Otherwise, very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is hidden away from the street and in a quiet neighborhood. A lovely whimsical garden in front as well as a furnished patio. The beds and pillows are sooooo comfortable! Lots of light and a cheerful interior, and a 5-minute drive to shopping. The bathroom connects the bedroom and living room, but with some coordination, it wasn't a problem. Very cozy and hope to come back.

Very accommodating stay for a coastal getaway!

Very impressed with the comfortable setting. Kitchen has everything you might need to enjoy a cooked meal, and all spaces had thoughtful touches. Maggie is very friendly and courteous! The garden area is very mindful and welcoming as well. Would highly recommend and return for our next trip!

My husband and i visited the area for a wedding. This was our first time using a bnb also. The propeery outside was very private and quite. The landscape was beautiful and so peaceful. It felt like your own secret garden. Inside was cozy and accommodating. Perfect weekend getaway!!

Enjoyable Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We met the owner who was very nice, but we had lots of privacy. The yard atmosphere was so pleasant and calming. The kitchen was roomy and everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed using the outdoor Bbq. We felt safe and had no problems. Thank you, Maggie for a wonderful getaway. We will be back.

What a gem!

This Garden Getaway is all we hoped for, and more. Maggie and Don are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to assure our birthday vacation in AG was perfect. We enjoyed the cottage but the garden was spectacular. It's close to restaurants and shopping, and has everything you'll need to cook gourmet meals. Pismo Beach is only a few minutes away. We plan to return soon. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Comfortable and cozy

We enjoyed staying at the Arroyo Grande guest house. The kitchen was fully stocked to accommodate at least 4 adults, even though there were only two of us. They also had a plenty of linens. The outdoor space is an oasis, peaceful and serene. It’s location is perfect If you want to hang out in Pismo, San Luis Obispo, Avila beach, or even take a day trip to Morro Bay. We would definitely come back.

The “cozy cottage” is their garage they tossed some drywall up in. Honestly it’s functional and pretty cute, but it definitely feels way too close for comfort to owner’s house. Apparently this is common for California. We felt very watched the whole time and sure enough during an evening chat halfway through the stay we saw some blinds flip up and down several times, and ended up just going back inside. The vibes were just bad all around and I would’ve rather paid a few more bucks for a hotel. The owners seem to have clearly had some bad renters in the past and ask for a lot upon checkout, which also would be fine if there weren’t clear indications that they hire a cleaner. So i’m cleaning to help you pay less for your cleaner? these people seem super out of touch with how incredibly lucky they are for this to be their passive income and could stand to be a little friendlier and more welcoming. So yeah… just fine.

Hello, the homeowner has asked us to pass along the following: -There was confusion at the time of checkout which may have caused issues for her. She thought they had rented for 4 days instead of 3, resulting in a late checkout. I did have to call and text to remind her of checkout time since my cleaner had been waiting to begin cleaning for the next guest. -When vacating the premises, the guests are asked to strip the beds, put linens and towels in laundry baskets, and empty the trash. The checkout procedure was Evolve's suggestion and is standard for the vacation rental industry. -For security reasons, we did look outside when we heard people walking around the backyard at 11:30 at night to make sure it was the guests. I feel that is my responsibility as a homeowner and host of guests. It was not our intention to make anyone feel watched and we are sorry she felt this way. We strive to provide a 5-star experience and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Quiet and Peaceful Neighborhood - Pleasant Quaint Cottage

This cottage was perfect for my needs - nice kitchen so I could prepare some of my own meals during my stay. Cottage is at the back of the property away from the street in a quiet neighborhood. A/C and ceiling fans kept the temperature comfy during a heat wave during my stay. Highly recommend this property.
