Perfect cabin for an Ozark get away!! We went on several beautiful hikes and the hot tub was a great way to recover. We didn’t use the stove top burners, but the toilet was easy to use and didn’t smell at all. Floated the Buffalo River and had an amazing time. Jasper is a cute little town.

We enjoy a lot, especially the hot tub, and it was quiet.

The concept here is great and interesting. The big items, like the quality of the cabin are in place. The execution is lacking and the details were a total miss.On arrival, construction materials were strewn about, as well as some clutter such as a pet bed that perched on a rack as if it were being hosed and dried, an empty charcoal starter bottle, multiple melted candles on the deck and table, and a random piece of lumber in the corner of the cabin.Functionally, the bathroom door did not close fully and there was no mirror to shave or put your contacts in. The mini fridge stayed 50-55 degrees, not safe for food storage. I suspect this is because it was in a small cabinet with the water heater and needed ventilation. The water heater is insufficient for showers, and only has about 2 minutes of hot water. Info left in the cabin suggests using this in short bursts, and that is necessary. The seats in the hot tub floated and moved all over until we looked up a video online and reconfigured the mounting pins. The composting toilet actually functions quiet well, don't be scared of it!We live regeneratively ourselves. Just a few hours of work and a few planning details (ex. on demand propane or 220v water heater and vent for fridge cabinet), and cleanup/organization would have transformed this from an unimpressive stay to a really great and novel experience.

Hi Tonja - this is good feedback. i'm not sure why the fridge was high, often it actually freezes things, we may have to replace. We are looking into replacing the water heater, its just hard because the space is small lol. As for the tub seats floating up, I asked our cleaner/Savior if she took the pins out and she concluded it must have been the previous guests, stating "some people's kids" and I reacted with a laughing face emoji, so thanks for contributing to that chuckle. As for the piece of wood in the room, I'm guessing that was our handyman fixing the bed and not having an eye for detail despite being the best handyman in the county. He will be fixing the bathroom door this coming week. The pet bed and other stuff I will have to clean up myself when I am there, the team has been focused on getting the lower site ready to rent. There is a message explaining that we are still in development with the property so construction should be expected. Seems that you found the hot tub plug!

It basically met our needs. Would have liked a mirror. Good directions to get there. Didn’t like that type of toilet.

Clean room. The arrangement of the cabin was odd with the cement foundation. Trash around the property.

Hi Darren! when we bought the property there was a lot of trash spread all over the first half and as we've put in roads and things more has been coming up. It's kind of an ongoing process that we hope to be finished with soon. As for the concrete slab, we will be adding landscaping soon that will make the layout more intuitive. Thanks for your feedback!

A little tough to get to if you don't have a 4-wheel drive but besides that it was perfect for what we needed. No microwave and no TV but also that was listed I just didn't realize till we got there.

Clean little cabin. There's construction still going on near the cabin. The host was very friendly. Be prepared to have lighter fluid and wood for the hot tub. Have wood prepped and ready before dark. Be sure to read thoroughly the details prior to showing up to the cabin because the details are not written out and kept in the cabin. Be sure to screenshot instructions in case you don't have service. Bring lights or lantern for out by the hot tub at night, there's no light source. Be cool to see this cabin in the future once construction is complete with landscape around the cabin.
