Not quite as beautiful as the pictures portray. The property feels tired, dated and in need of some serious updating. Communication was a little challenging, as no one we dealt with spoke English. The groundskeeper didn't speak English or French (possibly Russian?), but she was very friendly and did her best to explain everything using sign language.The pool is a great size and definitely a highlight. The kitchen, however, gets very warm because of all the glass and there are no curtains or blinds. There is also very little shade on the terrace, and the parasol was stuck halfway open.The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside, and the crockery, cutlery and glassware are stored rather randomly throughout the kitchen.The location is convenient, with the village within walking distance. There are several bakeries, a lovely butcher and a couple of restaurants, as well as a supermarket nearby.
