Slack Tide - by its very definition is a time when the water is completely unstressed. This is a short period of time, kind of like your vacation, but such an important time. We cannot think of a better name for this lovely Vacation Home, that upon entering, you will feel yourself beginning to decompress. Located in Piney Island, a lush Community which happens to be one of the closest to Assateague National Seashore, Slack Tide will not disappoint.

Surrounded by tall, whispering Pines with the Assateague Channel only steps away, breathing in this air will fill your senses with excitement and curiosity. Slack Tide offers everything you dream of for your Chincoteague Island Vacation, both inside and outside.

The Perfect Layout for your family.......
Upon entering Slack Tide, you'll love the large Mud Room decorated in Chabby Chic Coastal Decor. This leads to the spacious Dining Area with Soaring Ceilings and Exposed Beams - completely charming. Pale blue walls & light floors pop with hints of navy blue. The spacious Dining Table seats 8, with additional seating at the Breakfast Bar. You'll love the Bookcase the owners have provided filled with family games, puzzles, and books, and there is even a Game Table for enjoying them. Just around the corner, the very well-stocked Kitchen will please the Chef in the family, and has every gadget you could want to prepare Family Meals. You will love being able to dine indoors or Al Fresco on the incredible Deck out back with a Fire Pit. Don't feel like cooking? You are only minutes away from many dining options including Famous Pizza, The Village, Woody's, and more.

Slack Tide offers convenient one level living and sleeps 8 people, with only a small step between the Kitchen and Living Area. The layout of this lovely home, with 2 separate sides of the house, makes it perfect for one family or two families to share. Bedroom 1, which is on the way to the Living Area, is perfect for the kids and is decorated in an adorable Lighthouse Theme. This cozy room sleeps 3 in a Pyramid Bunk. Bedroom 2 features a Queen Bed and is adorned in lovely Coastal Colors. Bedroom 3, the Master Bedroom, is located in the newer portion of the home. Not only is this room beautifully furnished, lovely French Doors lead to a small Deck and access to the Backyard & Outdoor Shower. Finally, there is a Full Size Futon in the Extended Living Area. And with 2 Full Bathrooms, there will be no waiting in line when showers are in order!

The warm and inviting Living Area is a wonderful spot to relax and share stories of the day's adventures. With Central AC, Free WiFi, and Flat Screen Cable TV/DVD, you'll love sinking into the comfy furniture. The kids will have fun playing the WII Console when a little down time is needed. The thoughtful Owners of Slack Tide have provided a multitude of books, games, and movies for your enjoyment, as well.

Fabulous Outdoor Living.....
Not only is Slack Tide an incredible Vacation Home inside, it offers super fun Outdoor Living, as well! The huge, shady yard offers respite from the hot summer sun, and you will love the huge multi-tiered Deck with Dining Table for 6. What a great place to enjoy some Local Crabs or grill the Fresh Catch of the Day on the Charcoal Grill. The lush yard is fenced-in, making it perfect for your furbaby (Dogs Only) - there is even a "Doggie Door" leading to the Backyard from the Mud Room. There are several seating areas to enjoy the beauty, and the enormous Fire Pit surrounded by relaxing Adirondack Chairs will be the perfect place to gather after a fun-filled day on the Beach. After dinner, you can toast marshmallows with the marshmallow forks provided! An Outdoor Shower with hot & cold water is a great place to begin your day or rinse off after playing on the Beach.
