The traditional southwest wood burning kiva fireplace adds winter ambiance to this already inviting view home. Views are literally North, South, East and West. Just 1 mile to the Taos Youth & Family Center with pool, ice skating and other recreational facilities and a 15 minute walk to Carson National Forest and hiking trails.

For added pleasure and recreation slip into the luscious hot tub for star gazing on starry nights and relaxing after a day of skiing, white water rafting, hiking, fishing, biking or southwest shopping. For extended entertainment, the living room and all 3 bedrooms have their own satellite TV's.

Taos Heather's Hacienda offers 2 'Portalls' the traditional New Mexico outdoor large covered patio to extending the living area to take full advantage of New Mexico's mild winters and summers. Really appreciated the 3 master suites….with very comfortable beds. It was so nice to not short anyone….everyone had the same excellent sleeping accommodations. There was a place to gather (front room) and all kinds of kitchen equipment to cook! The dining table was lovely…..and hot tub better than all the rest. Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay in Taos! We loved it!

Taos Beauty!

Such a warm and welcoming home in a great location. There were five of us, including our small dog and we all had a fantastic time! The home is quiet and well appointed. We made good use of the hot tub after a day of skiing/shopping/sight-seeing. We will definitely book again!

This house had very comfortable beds, clean floors, cupboards, furniture, a beautiful, clean spa and lots of kitchen space for family to cook and dine. Perfect Taos Retreat

We met 2 other couples for a 5-day reunion. The bedroom suites and location made this the perfect house. Beds were all memory foam & comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of space & dishes to have meals together and relax in the living room afterward. Caretaker was very responsive. We’d stay again. Thank you!

Over my month long stay, I particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire at the end of the day and stargazing from the hot tub, while relaxing before bed!Being amongst the sage brush brought wildlife close, seeing elk hoof prints regularly and hearing the coyotes made me sure to keep my dog close at night. This also means the house is exposed to wind and can be chilly on particularly windy days.The caretaker was very helpful and responsive for my arrival and any questions during the stay.

One shower in one of the hallway bedrooms had standing water when used. The ice maker didn't work, but ice cube trays were all we needed. Overall the house roomy and wonderful.8

Beautiful Southwestern home in a very quiet setting

The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, with the houses well spaced apart on an acre or more land. On the south side of town, near the major grocery stores, the Taos Country Club Golf Course, and 5 minutes to the hospital. Beautiful views of Taos mountain and the surrounding sage covered landscape. The house itself had a large kitchen, dining room, and great room in the center area with a master bedroom suite to one end and 2 bedrooms and en suite baths on the other end of the home. Lovely hot tub and comfy porch furniture off the dining room and kitchen were inviting places to relax and unwind. Plenty of closet space, lovely art work and southwestern rugs topped it all off. We would recommend this home without reservation.

Love this house.! The layout, the views, the attentive response from property manager, wanting to be sure everything went smoothly from check-in and throughout our stay.
