Large 5/3-Heated Pool-Hot-tub-Beach-for 12 Guests

OUTDOOR SPACE:
- Large, very private heated swimming pool with a Jacuzzi surrounded by chaise lounges.
-The Covered patio has a stainless steel propane BBQ grill and a charcoal grill with an outdoor dining area for 8.
(Propane tanks are available upon request for a $40 charge)

LIVING AREA:
- Formal dining room seats up to 8 with a large TV.
-There is an additional den with oversized comfortable couches and large TV.

KITCHEN: Has a breakfast area with access to patio and pool. The fully stocked chef’s kitchen has all top of the line appliances and features. Coffee machine, tea kettle, toaster, blender, Ice maker, cookware, glassware, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water dispenser, freezer, and microwave.

BEDROOMS: (5)
Casa Serena sleeps 8 guests in comfortable beds. The 5, large bedrooms all have TV's with cable. Four (4) bedrooms have large connecting bathrooms with tubs and showers.
- A Pac&Play and high chair are provided
- Queen-sized sofa sleeper
- Premium air mattress available for 2 additional guests upon request for a $25 delivery charge.

BATHROOMS: (3)
All bathrooms are provided with a starter set of toiletries (TP, handwashing soap) and plush bath and beach towels. A hairdryer is also available.

INTERNET: Highspeed and wireless throughout.

CLEANING:
› All of our properties are professionally cleaned and sanitized up to CDC guidelines and inspected before each stay to ensure your safety.
› Starter Dishwasher pods are provided
› Washer and dryer with a starter set of laundry pods provided.

LOGISTICS:
› Check-in: 4:00 PM.
› Check-out: 11:00 AM.
› An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about availability and pricing.

TV's: All seven (7) of our TV's are Smart with access to log into your favorite streaming channels.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE:
- Weekly Landscaping service usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays in the morning.
- Weekly Pool cleaning service usually on Tuesdays in the morning.

POOL: This house boasts a 450 sq ft heated pool for a $15 per day service charge. Please note there is no lifeguard on duty and we ask that all guests enjoy the pool responsibly. The property owner is not liable for any pool-related accidents, drowning, or bodily harm/personal injuries. No diving is permitted. No glass is permitted in or near the pool, the kitchen is supplied with plastic cups.

GARBAGE: We ask that you please put out any used garbage bins in the front of the driveway Sunday night and Wednesday night prior to collection on Garbage Removal days, Monday and Thursday mornings. Please bring the bins back to the side of the house when the trash has been picked up.

PARTIES & EVENTS: We do not allow parties, receptions, or events. The home is located in a residential neighborhood and local ordinances dictate no excessively loud music or noise after 10PM. This is our most important rule that can result in the termination of your reservation along with additional fees. If you have any questions regarding entertaining on the property please contact us.

PARKING: The driveway is located on the side of the property and accommodates three (3) cars. Please refrain from parking on the street or on the lawn.

PETS: Pets are permitted upon request, please note, that there is a $120 pet sanitation fee per pet for the duration of your stay.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS: ValGal isn’t responsible for any package delivery or personal belongings left at the property after checkout.

Family Stay for Aunt's 100th Birthday

This was a great place to stay while in Florida. The whole family was able to stay together in one place. It was clean, had plenty of parking, and overall was a great place to stay. I would stay here again.

Great neighborhood

Just finished our 3 week stay here. This is a big house. It’s an old house and could use updating. The neighborhood and location to the beach are terrific! Pool itself is really nice and stayed warm, the shrubbery and trees surrounding keep it a little messy. Someone came twice a week to clean it-that was good. Outdoor furniture is good-cushions need replacing. The couple issues we had someone came within 24 hours to fix.

So great!!

This place was absolutely amazing!! It’s in a great location, super close to the airport and the beach. All kinds of restaurants and grocery stores and everything was super close. The beds were incredible. The outside set up is fantastic. I have nothing bad to say!!

Perfect Fit

This house was the right size, had all amenities, nearby to beach and restaurants and well kept. We had a great time for two weeks and enough space for all adults. Neighborhood safe. Will definitely revisit!

A tad underwelmed

The property was in a nice area - large home. The kitchen is not as well appointed - nothing in the way of spices or coffee etc. Hot tub never heated up. Front room was not very nice. As a couple that uses VRBO's for travel each year, this property didn't wow us.Might be a great spot for a large family. Loved the Iguanas...

Great House and Location

We were a group of 8 adults and stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the house. Very spacious and a great location with walking distance to the beach/boardwalk/grocery stores etc. Backyard is fantastic and we spent most of our time there. Veronika and Chris were very prompt at responding to our needs and check in was very easy. Would have given this an overall 5 star rating except for the fact that the heating equipment for the hot tub and pool were not working despite their efforts to have it fixed while we were there. Thanks Guys.

Outside is great!

First the good - the outside area is great, nice pool, plenty of dining and seating. The location is on a quiet residential street, walkable to the beach, and downtown Hollywood (many dining options both directions). The downside is that the house is a bit dated and in need of some updates. The pictures are accurate, it's just hard to tell from photos. The cleanliness was so/so - mainly clean, but tops of tile baseboards were grimy, spatters on bathroom wall, corners dusty - that type of stuff.

House was good, hot tub didn’t work well and property manager terrible

I want to start with the positive. The house is huge, kitchen is well appointed and the beds are comfy. Pool area is pretty. Pool was not clean when we arrived despite us being told it was cleaned Mondays and Thursdays (we arrived Monday night). The pool was never cleaned until we called VRBO to complain on Thursday. The hot tub got hot a couple of times but mostly just warm. We communicated with property manager ahead of time about pool heating and a propane tank. We were told “ok you will be charged $100 for those” which seemed fine. Halfway through our stay upon inquiring about the hot tub heat I was told “we are past pool heating season. You were automatically charged and we will reverse that”. I wasn’t automatically charged, I asked for pool heating. There was a propane tank there that lasted through one dinner then ran out. I never got a response about that. FINALLY on our 3rd night one of the bedroom smoke detectors started beeping low battery. We were able to take it down and get the batteries out but there were no extra batteries in the house. I again contacted manager and was told they would come by. They came when we were out, took smoke detector, left the dead batteries and never brought it back. This is dangerous and not to code. Overall I feel like the house was fine but not what I expected and anything I inquired about was ignored. We left one night early.

Vacation

The location is great! I like the neighborhood. I took me 25mins to walk to the beach through a beautiful neighborhood. The house has alot of space! Plenty of bedrooms. Nice house. My only.Complaint was the pool. ThePool was dirty. They came out four days after I got there to clean it only after I emailed called and texted them to do so. They still didn't do a good job. Nobody.Wanted to get in the pool. I wouldn't have cared so much because I'm a beach person.However I rented this house for the kids and friends. They charged me a cleaning fee for the pool and pool maintenance. The pool was a disappointment. The house was great!

Very beautiful and spacious

It was a nice house. The pool and spa was awesome. Good location too. The only downside for us was that the pool pump was broken when we arrived and it was very noisy. To be fair, they came to replace it two days later. Good service. Overall, we had a very fun stay.

Great locationlarge house FILTHY DIRTY!

We recently stayed at this property with our children/spouses. This house is located in a beautiful neighborhood; close to the airport, minutes away from the downtown attractions, fantastic restaurants and the boardwalk. This house had plenty of bedrooms, 2 living room areas, a dining area, large kitchen and nice outdoor space. Upon arrival, I noticed immediately how dirty the master bathroom was. The bidet had “hair” in it, there was a leaf on the floor behind the toilet, the ledge walking into the shower was black and moldy, the toilet roll holder was rusted, the toilet button was so dirty, the window frame was disgustingly dirty, and there was a large clump of someone’s hair underneath the master bedroom’s nightstand. Disgusting. The kitchen floor under the table as well as under the sink was clearly not swept or washed either. I swept and cleaned both areas. The tv in one of the living room’s didn’t work, however, we made a call and the property manager, Chris quickly came over and was able to fix the problem. The outdoor area was beautiful; nice size pool and hot tub. Was very private and a nice area to just sit and relax. We spent months planning our vacation for our children’s Christmas gift and had many, many VRBO options. When we came across this property and viewed the pictures, we thought it would be the perfect house for our family. For the amount we paid to stay at the house, we were disappointed and disgusted at the cleanliness.

Family getaway

Perfect place for a family get together, plenty of room inside (sleeping, leisure, dining) and plenty of room outside by the pool and a very short drive or even walk to the beach. Quick responses from the property manager when we had questions.

Outside is very nice, we enjoyed spending time outside. Hot tub is heated. Most of the time we spend outside. House is big with a lot of space for everyone. Now i will cover not so good things. The house has 3 full bathrooms. The only good shower is in master bathroom. The other two-bathroom showerheads are old and not very good. King size bedroom mattress are very soft and not comfortable. Pool is not heated. During our stay the owner send roofers to fix the roof. So, for 2 days people were working on the roof with a lot of noise. I understand roof needs to be fixed but why does it have to be during our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house as an opportunity for our families to come together and celebrate a birthday. We were very excited about having a heated pool on the property and a hot tub. Upon arrival, the pool had not been cleaned. It was a holiday - and the property management company sent out someone to clean it immediately, which was appreciated. When we spoke with the pool guy about turning the heater on, he told us it was broken and wouldn't work during the entirety of our stay. Not great first impressions, and the rental company should have immediately notified us of the issue prior to our arrival. It totally changed what our (not cheap) vacation experience was, since we were there in November. Not having a heated pool made it unusable apart from quick dips from time to time as the backyard doesn't get full sun at any time. The table in the backyard is where we spent a majority of the time. At night there is a population of rats that live next to the property and are very active along the fence-line. If rats make you squeamish - not the best place, but this is something common in Florida.Apart from the pool, the house itself is fine. It has plenty of space for a big group. I will say it is in need of a lot of updating and general maintenance. The kitchen counter around the stove is broken and in need of repair. The ceilings in the bedrooms have peeling paint. Water pressure and temperatures in the showers were a bit of a joke. One of the toilets has a very sticky flapper, to the point I thought it didn't work when we first got there. Kitchen had most items, but very minimal selection of utensils if wanting to prepare a meal. Overall, our group had a great time, but our stay at this house did not contribute to that.
