What a great little gem in Kaslo, close enough to town but remote and quiet allowing for relaxing morning and evenings on the deck. Very responsive host and the cottage had everything you need.

What a welcoming, quiet refuge tucked into the woods! The big windows framed gorgeous autumn colors and it was still mild enough to enjoy my coffee on the outside little table that was in early morning sunlight. Everything was clean and fresh! Really appreciated the down comforter and pillows on the VERY comfy bed. Both kitties (Jaxon and Jipsy) paid polite visits at the door… what purring love bugs! Meleana was a prompt and warm host in our interactions. I enjoyed my stay and will not hesitate to recommend to others!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

This is one of the best accommodations we have had. The host was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and the setting in the cedars was soothing. The place was well equipped with everything you would need. We would definitely return.

Great stay at Cedar Cottage

My friend and I stayed at Cedar Cottage for 3 nights while attending the Kaslo Jazz Festival. It was a perfect location, only a few minutes to Kaslo but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was cute and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We particularly appreciated all the condiments provided in the fridge!

This little cabin is perfectly placed to enjoy a natural setting but still be close enough to town to enjoy Kaslo and pick up a few groceries. Periodically a bit of traffic noise, but no big deal. We will recommend to friends and be back.

Perfect for a quiet evening

We had a lovely one-night stay here! We were coming back from a sad family event so it served as a quiet, comfortable and cozy place to de-stress and process things. Meleana was awesome at communicating and we even brought our dog which was so nice. The view is stunning. It's quiet, I kept thinking it would be a perfect place to sit and write a novel. Definitely have this one on my list to come back to for a longer period of time.

The place said even flooring and it had a stair drop into kitchen, uneven stones for steps outside. The bathroom wasn’t inside the house and had poor lighting at night. One sensor after you struggled down the stone steps and were 5 feet away from the bathroom is when came on should have been one at the door Drinking water was in a jug and we had to get them to put it up as we are seniors and could not lift it .Never said there could be a water shortage in the promo. There was also a step down into the bathroom from outside. So them saying no steps and even flooring to walk on was totally misleading! Not impressed will not be back and will not recommend to anyone

A great kootenay getaway spot

Such a great and private spot tucked in a cedar forest with a Partial view of the lake. Communication with Meleana was very easy and expedient.

Cute place for sure!!
