We spent a fantastic 3 nights at Cedar Cottage. The cottage was super clean, comfortable, well stocked, and with great views. It was very quiet and close to town. Meleana was very helpful with suggestions for biking and beaches. I don't have any negatives or suggestions for improvement!
Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night at the cottage but we found the stay very relaxing. Cottage is easy to access but still somewhat secluded. Watching the sun come up above the mountains in the morning was spectacular.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a few days of R&R at the cedar cottage - location was great (beautiful views!) and Meleana was so friendly and very responsive. Definitely would stay here again!
Very cozy cottage with all you could ask for in amenities. Very tastefully decorated and the yard and deck with all the flowers was extremely inviting and relaxing. 2 cats who visit outside and may use it for home base are sweet. Dogs beware!
The owners Meleana and Thomas have had this property for 26 years. The cottage was built by the family in 2017. Meleana is a high school teacher/counsellor and Thomas is a local landscaper and gardner. Thomas and Meleana love living the Kootenay Dream where much of their year is spent doing a variety of outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
